This is rlly great and sounds nice. Rlly nostalgic of childhood and some great vocals. Apart from the last song being too long no problems with it rlly
This is a really chill release. I'd highly recommend . Great vibe and some rlly nice sampling.
I remember hearing this for the first time in a car ride having only heard funeral. Was super underwhelmed and I still am lol this shit is just average
Something feels empty about this
It's not bad at all, it's good. But like the melodies and vocal performances all seem so manufactured and surface level. When I first heard this in 2019 I had no problems with this album but as I've grown and heard more music this rlly just doesn't hit as much
the ending of this album jfc
only thing keeping it from being a 10 is hood politics tbh
round and round one of the best songs ever made too bad hes a weirdo
The production on here is immaculate. The way the keys are done especially is rlly amazing. They blend in perfectly and add super icy chill atmosphere to these songs.
Thom yorkes vocals here are very well mixed and perfectly highlight all the little things he does which make his voice as distinctive as it is. The electronic elements here also greatly affect the album as a whole and make it remain modern.
It really doesn't sound that old at all. If this came out in 2021 it would be just as ... read more
This lowkey a future classic
What may appear as basic soundcloud trap at first slowly reveals itself to be a standout for the genre and one of the eras defining projects. Super happy beats and great melodies, it's hard to get anything other than a smile listening to these songs.
This album will be looked back on very fondly. Its iconic nearly front to back. Whether you like the albums sound or not, it's impossible to deny songs like money longer will continue to remain relevant throughout ... read more
This record is so fun and does not take itself seriously whatsoever . Amazing shit
For the longest time I didn't realize that black heart , didn't just come here to dance, and fav colour were deluxe tracks so I rated this lower
This album is way too fucking good for it to only have 8 ratings on here.
(Rating this but expecting it to change a lot). Yo la tengo makes extremely subtle music. So much so that when I first heard this a few months ago I had trouble finishing this.
However, I think I finally understand this album at least to an extent. And can attest that it's a masterpiece (9+) . Just don't know how much of one I think it is.
If this wasn't so bloated it'd genuinely be a period defining rap project.
With amazing hits like xo tour life, dark queen, the way life goes, sauce it up etc (and 20 min on the deluxe ofc), this album serves as an amazing timestamp of the sound of popular trap/ emo trap from 2015-2018. In 30 years, if someone wanted to know what music from the later 2010s was like, playing any of these tracks perfectly illustrates the period
And some of the more emotional deep cuts are great as well. ... read more
