Utterly brilliant album to which words cannot explain my unrivalled love for this record.
Each and every song is placed perfectly throughout the album, seldom do we see issue with the track list. Mezzanine provides a wide variety of vocal performances through the features and the bands own personal, each brilliant in their own right. No other vocalist was up to the task of singing “teardrop”, with Elizebeth Fraser’s performance being outstanding. She continues to put up ... read more

This is really quite good
Kendrick embraces the West Coast on his latest album “GNX”.
Produced incredibly, a rare moment for Jack Antonoff, it captures the traditions of his side of America incredibly. Yet it still feels raw, a contrast to his other albums such as TPAB, a brilliantly written and composed record, but almost feels to polished. Kendrick doesn’t fall into this trap on GNX and works to nearly perfection.

Incredible.
Peggy proves time and time again why he’s the best in the business.
Immaculately produced, every song feels almost flawless. The choice and use of sample is outrageously creative to point I question if this man is real. Songs such as HAZARD DUTY PAY, DIKEMBE!, TRUST!, and WHAT KIND OF RAPPIN’ IS THIS? present themselves as the pinnacle of musical production and creativity, unrivalled in the industry.

I’m not sure how I’m meant to feel about this.
The production is brilliant. It’s insane and face melting, it’s seriously some of the best I’ve ever heard. The way the drums are produced is comically incredible, it’s outstanding.
But the rapping kills it for me. It’s incomprehensible, it feels almost out of place with respect to the beats. It’s really unfortunate due to how well the record is produced. I do feel issues pertaining to the mixing of ... read more
Overproduced bland garbage
Noel adds nothing to music here. Council Skies is so incredibly boring, the vocal performance is so incredibly bland. There’s not much to talk about here, it’s fucking shite.
This is the greatest song of all time
But in all seriousness, this is Carti’s best verse ever. At no point has he ever flowed this well, nor has he ever sounded this good. The beat is fucking majestic, the weeknd’s opening vocals just adds to this. It’s unconventionally Carti, but suites him so well. The way Carti is able to switch between voices so seamlessly is the icing on the cake.
The Weeknd doesn’t leave without praise! A strong and solid vocal performance. ... read more
