Just an amazing album by Danny Brown where we go through him dealing with heavy drugs and isolation. Its an emotional journey he takes us on where it all seems it would go wrong, but the outro is just a beautiful way to end it.
Quite the same flaws as "A momentary Lapse of Reason" being that Gilmour is not that consistent when it comes to be the head vocalist and songwriter. With that being said i find songs like High Hopes very good and its definitely a classic Pink Floyd song. Its also sad that the last Pink Floyd album was this one when it lacks so much in quality. In my opinion I think it would be awesome if they ended it with The Final Cut or something.
Another Pink Floyd is rated for my discography dive and this one is a David Gilmour solo album. A momentary lapse of reasons is this called and at first I expected this to be very good since my dad is a huge fan of Pink Floyd and said this was one of his favourites when he grew up. So I said really, i thought he would say maybe Dark Side Of The moon or even Wish You Were Here but no this was his favourite. When i first listened to this I could really see why someone would like this, is very ... read more
Really enjoyed this album by St. Vincent. Never really heard anything by her and i didnt know what to expect but this was very beautiful. I love the psychadelic and jazzy sound she goes with and her vocals is also very beautiful.
First album ive heard by Godspeed You! Black Emperor but ive heard a lot about them and i will definitely check out their older stuff. This for me was good, but it was nothing special in my opinion. I love some of the beautiful stuff in this and "Government Came" is for me the best song in the whole album.
A weaker brockhampton album after the saturation series. I feel like is safe to say that this was not what i was expecting when first listened to it. The intro with Danny brown is for me one of the few positives with this album and yeah there arent many. The production on the other hand is what makes this better than it normally would and I love many of the beats in this thing.
Right now im feeling that PEMFBA is still a lot better and is way more consistent. I think this album has some good ideas and songs, but it gets drowned in some very boring and bland songs in here. Roddy Ricch is a rapper who has a lot of potential and i will come back to this for a while and i will update the score if i feel it deserve it, but right now im just feeling that this could have been way better than it came out to be.
I enjoyed this aswell like I have with all the albums by Pink Floyd and this one is a Roger Waters solo album. He delivers an album stuffed with powerful lyrics and feelings, but some of the songs are a bit boring and bland which is why many of them got left out by "The Wall". For me the best song in here is "The Gunners Dream" which is a beautiful song about a guy who is diving from a gunner ship down to the ground and he thinks about all the memories and people he is ... read more
Wow, I have listened to this before but something just clicked and the music was just taking over me. I cant say i've had an experience after listening to an album before like I had after this. For me this is the best Pink Floyd album and it should get more praise after being stuck in the shadow of Dark Side Of The Moon. The beautiful intro by Gilmour and the lyrics is just so hard hitting especially when it is about the former band member Syd Barrett. Then we have "Wish You Were ... read more
Here we go, meddle the album who is most known for the incredible track "Echoes". Yeah and I can see why, echoes is a fantastic song which is beautiful and dreamy combined with some amazing production. Handsdown one of the best tracks i've heard by Pink Floyd, but the rest of the tracks was a little bit eh and easily forgettable. For me the two stand out tracks here are "A Pillow of Winds" and of course "Echoes".
Easily one of my favourite albums of all time and also the best rap album of all time. Kendricks storytelling is just phenomenal and the prodcution is fantastic.
I see that a lot of people dont like this which I can understand is very different from some of the newer stuff but, i enjoyed it. I thought that "The Narrow Way" by Gilmour is very beautiful and is one of the positive side of this album. On the other hand we also have some very experimental stuff and the track with the long ass name LMAO is definitely a track that didnt do much to me. Sysyphus was just a mess and "The Garden party" is a okay way to end the album. We also ... read more
I never thought id be tearing up from a experimental rap album, but this shit hit me in a other way that im not sure how to describe.
Probably pink floyds best album when it comes to concept and they do it in a fantastic way.
This is just beautiful through out the whole album. Especially epitaph which when the build up explode it got me raising up from the seat. Its one of the better prog rock album ive heard and i think this could Even be the best one after a while.
Definitely not Kanyes best work, but it still is a very solid album. Its a album were kanye is talking about his feelings and his mental problems. The production is good but is not one of the best produced albums by kanye.
