I am someone who grew up on a TON of Bob Dylan, yet someone who is definitely not that big of a fan. I've seen him live I think 4 times & he sure is something... He sounds like if RFK Jr. had a kid with a bulldozer. But I can't deny this albums greatness. So many near perfect classics that I grew up on like Tangled Up in Blue, Simple Twist of Fate, Meet Me in the Morning, Shelter from the Storm & Buckets of Rain. Even the songs I'm not always the most familiar with are ... read more

Daniel Caesar's best album by far. Even though I have a lot more of a connection & nostalgia for CASE STUDY 01, as a whole project, NEVER ENOUGH feels like his most solid. So many strong highs like Toronto 2014, Let Me Go, Always, Cool, Disillusioned, Shot My Baby & Pain is Inevitable could be tied for my favorite Daniel song, next to SUPERPOSITION. That song really saved me & connected to me so much at a time when I really needed it. It still makes me cry sometimes cause ... read more
I get the hate for this album, but I just don't care. It's still such a pretty solid album. You can't deny that some of Joji's biggest highs are on this album. Songs like Glimpse of Us, Die for You, Before the Day is Over, YUKON & 1AM FREESTYLE are on this album & they're so GOOOOD! I agree there's a few scraps like Feeling Like The End, NIGHT RIDER & BLAHBLAHBLAH DEMO, but they're not terrible. The only song I really don't like is Dissolve. ... read more
The wait between Process to Lahai was so worth the wait because it brought such a phenomenal experience. Sampha brings amazing vocals as always, but I love how much more writing we get & all the amazing melodies he sings that felt so unexpected for Sampha, but it all works so well. And the production is out of this world as always, but it definitely feels livelier than anything else he's released & I love this change of feeling. Only a few weaker points like I personally don't ... read more
In my opinion, this is Saba's best album. Everything from his writing & rapping to his storytelling & all the production is at its highest & really takes you into the world of this album. I can very much feel the environment he's describing. So much nostalgia for me too listening to this album front to back walking home from school, it's perfect for that vibe of taking a long walk & listening to all of his stories. So many strong highs like One Way, Circus, ... read more
Such a severely over hated album. It's not like amazing, but still has a lot of really great highs, but with maybe Q's weakest lows like Lies, Black Folk & Floating. CHopstix fucking sucks. But there's so many great songs like Gang Gang, Numb Numb Juice, 5200 & either Drunk or Dangerous might be tied for my favorite Q song. Maybe most of it feels like a cash grab like Water, CHopstix or Lies, but he still does most of it really well. Except for CHopstix, that song still ... read more
I know no one probably cares about this album, but I don't care, this album is so amazing. Nat King Cole is my favorite jazz singer & this is just a perfect amazing collection of fun jazz songs with amazing singing, great melodies & beautiful playing throughout every song. Send For Me is legitimately a top 10 song of all time for me. But there's so many other great songs like Time and The River, Looking Back, Midnight Flyer, I Must Be Dreaming, Just as Much as Ever & The ... read more
Idk what to say that hasn't been said. Obviously, it's a near perfect classic. Only songs that are still good, but I don't care too much about are On the Run & Any Colour You Like. I remember hearing Us and Them for the first time driving with my sister & this song came on & immediately captured my attention. More people need to talk about that song because it's beautifully perfect. Everything on this album is pretty much perfect, just a few moments I don't ... read more
While Bryter Layter might be my personal favorite, I believe Pink Moon to be everything that makes Nick Drake my favorite singer / songwriter & guitar player. The way he's able to take you to his world & make you feel like you're watching him play in the studio is incredible. And the way he can do it with just his voice, his guitar & a little bit of piano on just the first song is something no one else can do, all within 28 minutes. The stillness in it all & the peace ... read more
Fuck you Kanye for being a nazi. You ruined me from listening to a perfect album.
It's so tough for me to pick between this & Cosmogramma as my favorite Flying Lotus album with how he's able to create such incredible & unique worlds in his albums. He never fails to make a unique atmosphere in every song with his classic combination of electronic, jazz & bringing in lots of rock & hip-hop elements in this album. Lots more collaborations & all of them from Kendrick to Snoop Dogg to Thundercat to Flylo's alter ego Captain Murphy bring you even ... read more
I don't understand this woman is saying, but goddamn it's so much fun.
I remeber hearing Bahia in a Noodles & Co. in Chicago & immediately trying to shazam it. I listened to the whole album then & it was such a fun album to listen on repeat. Maybe could've had a bit more variety & obviously I don't understand the words so it can be a bit hard to connect to the songs & it is a pretty short album, but sound wise, yes Yes YES it's a very fun listen :)
ehh, yeah. Pretty good I guess so.
EAST makes me want to punch my baby in a mosh pit.
Honestly, a kind of overhated album & Post's best. Do I ever revisit this album? Absolutely not. Not since it came out. But I have gone back to Staring at the Sun a few times & it's really good. And revisiting it all again... Yeah, most of it like basic H&M wallpaper. But there's good moments like Enemies, Allergic, Take What You Want, Staring at the Sun & Goodbyes. Still kinda whatever I guess. I don't care too much. Cameron Winter my favorite white boy rn
The first album I heard from Bon Iver. I listened to it when it came out, did nothing for me & never went back to anything but Hey, Ma a few times. Relistened to it a few months ago through my Bon Iver obsession this year & while this is personally my least favorite Bon Iver album, it's still so incredibly good. It takes the amazing production & experimentation from 22, A Million & feelings of the classic playing & songwriting from For Emma, Forever Ago while also ... read more
Holy fuck SOOOO much better than And Then You Pray For Me. Gunn's most classic album in my opinion & I wouldn't argue if people consider this a classic of the decade.
Personally prefer The Melodic Blue & would've loved to have more songs, but what we did get is pretty good. Most of it maybe not worth the 5 year wait, but the highs on here are definitely worth it & some of his strongest work. His strongest writing & I love the new ways he used his voice. Birds & the Bees, Good Flirts & $ex Appeal are kinda whatever, but nothing terrible on here.
