My god this album is incredible. I didn't realise it at first listen, I guess I didn't pay enough attention but it felt like some generic rock record that was fine but went in one ear and out the other, when I revisited it it stunned me. The Slim Shady LP is so enjoyable, so unique... so addictive. I was a casual Em fan for over 10 years before diving into his LP's so I generally enjoyed his dark lyrics, addictive flow and rhyme schemes he mastered in his most acclaimed songs before I even knew anything about any of that, I just enjoyed the songs really. Gonna start posting weekly roundups of what I've been listening to - mainly just for me to keep track of stuff and would be nice to look back on and see when I discovered what etc. And would be nice to have a bit of flair to rating music rather than just soulless numbers and maybe will get me into reviewing more.
