In Medúlla the spirit of the primitive, immediate and wild is felt. Medúlla effectively recreates such sensations in a balanced album in which the human voice is its center of gravity and merges with its characteristic sound. Processed voices, full harmonizations, percussions that follow one another like a shrapnel of notes, landscapes that refer from a trival party to a cold forest, the dark bottom of the sea, a starry night. The return to the human essence, the ancestral.
Primer álbum de la mejor banda mexicana de todos los tiempos. El fuego de la noche es una obra de excelente nivel creativo en donde existe un estilo musical con raíces mexicanas (algo que se nota en distintos ritmos y armonías de las canciones) sin sonar forzado y sin mostrar concesiones. Un disco con el que hay que compenetrarse para explorar su oscura luminosidad.

Melodic experience between analog and digital through a hybrid album composed of both acoustic guitars and programming. Yoshimi's story takes you through passages of impeccable beauty, as well as hypnotic and dreamy moments. Even today I shudder with that guitar sound prior to "Her name is Yoshimi ..."
And that's right, you have the most beautiful face.
