finally came around to liking this album. great pacing, great stories, and great sounding songs
i cant express enough how shocked i was when the front half was a 2/10 and then the back half was like a 10/10

i get it now, its a people-watching album. the first 8 songs are each their own abstracted peek into different peoples lives, like a chauvinist "pig" (Hog Calling Contest) or a depressed dude (Sad Pilot) or a guy getting fucked over by climate change but not bein too hung up abt it (Antarctica). then we see how pigeons live so simply in the same cities that we do and presumably have it great, and get to go hang out with their pigeon buddies all the time. damn, ... read more
