The first time I listened to To Be Kind was in February of 2021. All I knew about the album was that it was 2 hours long, and fantano gave it a 10. I found Screen Shot's opening riff to be enticing, and the slow build up was unlike anything I had heard before, but for the most part my enjoyment of the album didn't go beyond a surface level appreciation.

this is probably the worst album ive ever listened to. usually "bad albums" tend to get boring for me like halfway through, i get numb to how bad it sounds and convince myself that its actually somewhat listenable. but this album manages to stay entertainingly horrible for its full 20 minute runtime. every minute is more deranged than the last
theyre called the viagra boys because this shit fucks hard
sometimes the quirky "LOL return to monke xD" stuff is a bit much but at some points it hits just right. aint no thief is definitely a contender for song of the year
I really like joji's music. Everything about his style, vocals, the smooth and vibey production, his melodies, it all very much speaks to me. It doesn't take a lot for him to win me over, pretty much all he needs to do is actually finish a song.
