A lot of the time, songs that are “Le happy :) but actually Le sad :(“ end up feeling forced or lame but this EP performs a perfect balancing act between the two emotions. The instrumentals and melodies are bouncy and catchy whilst the lyrics are explicitly disturbing and sound like a cry for help.

Almost everyone here sound really bored and the beat is just so standard

I really don’t understand how people can call this album a “disappointment”

Still a great album just some songs have aged like milk in terms of production. I honestly still don’t mind too much because Danny is so charismatic on every song. Side A HARD carries though

i feel like i like this album much more than everybody else does. in my mind its better than hail to the thief no question

i thought i'd like this album more but yeah it really is weak. i still think its good but some songs just don’t hit and the title track would be a much better song if it didnt give me an actual fucking headache. smuckers carries HARD

original is still significantly better but the remaster is still really good
