Ah! So good! This is what I want in a Death Grips album. Constant new and developed idea are being thrown in your face every song and it's sounds amazing. Death Grips really reinvent themselves on Bottomless Pit and it totally pays off
the first 6 track run is crazy and then barry bonds is just ok and drunk and hot girls is dog ass BUT THEN IT REELS ME BACK IN!!!
The Alchemist would sample the fuck out of Her Eyes Are a Blue Million Miles
i feel absolutely fucking insane for liking this
It's such a drastic departure from every other CSH album and I'm not gonna lie, it practically casts aside everything I liked about them in the first place. Is it good though? Yes, absolutely. There are a couple songs that I would call incredible and some a little eh. Maybe I listened to it too much a couple of years back and I'm a bit sick of some elements? I don't know. It's good
I'm not proud of how much i like CSH either. HOWEVER! There is not a single second of filler on this whole album in my opinion. Every song has perfectly distilled Will Toledo songwriting. The guitar is so satisfying i don't know how to put it, every strum, every pluck is so perfect. To me, this is the best that Car Seat Headrest has ever sounded with both production and performance in mind. The lo-fi production is not nearly as abrasive as 1 or 2 and isn't as clean as Teens of Denial or Twin ... read more
some songs are genuinely great but i just cant force myself to care about the rest. yolo is goated
doesn’t hit the same. Sounds like watered down bottomless pit, I sincerely don’t think that there is anything here that wasn’t done better on that album. don’t get me wrong are a few standout tracks that are really good like death grips is online, black paint, the fear and maybe dilemma? the rest of the album is just not as interesting to me, a lot of it just feels kinda flat if you compare it to an album like bottomless pit. still very good! just one of their weakest ... read more
its like if you gave cavemen fl studio and injected their brains with the production talent of a 19 year-old trans girl
some of the songs on this album i'll just like put on casually like screen shot or a little god in my hands because of how damn groovy they can be. however, most of the album is so musically and thematically adventurous that (like most swans albums) its better to be in a particular mood to listen to it. you can kinda hear swans tap back in to their no wave era a bit sometimes just with how intense and wild to be kind can get, but it manages to reign itself in every now and then. it's paced very ... read more
Shoutout to doves for like actually being one of the best songs I have ever heard
