Has some decent highs, but is overall lacking in production and writing when it comes to Kendrick. GNX is the worst Kendrick song I've heard yet. I'll definitely give it another listen soon and my score might raise

There's not one bad song throughout this whole project. The one and only downside for me is that I wasn't a big fan of the features. there was a sense of repetition, like most of the songs were all following a simular formula, but they have enough that sets them apart for that to not be a big issue. This album is definitely worth a listen and a 77 is criminal imo.

A bit of a return to form musically to the Glow Pt. 2 era Microphones. The production and songwriting carry glimpses of a familiar sound to that of Phil’s earlier works, even through this project narratively is anything but retrospective, and is as forward thinking as his work under the Mount Eerie pseudonym gets.

So this album was absolutely overhyped, although it is still great. It’s definitely less a big concept album than people wanted it to be (definitely not an IGOR sequel), but its his most introspective and personal work to date.
