it's fine, i just think that the mixing could've been better. why doesn't the vocal production reflect the instrumental? i dunno. still good either way, inoffensive.
what better moment to listen to this other than today now that i am genuinely frustrated and i need an outlet to let these emotions out. man this fucking rips, and the production is insaneeee urgh it's so good. definitely better than their last album.
literally an album made for me + i really needed something encouraging because i've been feeling like shit for the past few months about so many things and this hits the spot for that warmth of affirmation that i've been craving for. actually teared a little when the first song started because of how fuzzy my stomach felt in a good way, i love music that makes me feel loved and appreciated when not a lot of people does.

love how textured and ambitious the production choices are, unfortunately it just does not bite as i know it could upon first listen, but i could definitely see this growing on me and my score might go higher. robyn's voice is great too, her performance is undeniable.

took me so long to tap in to this one jfc. three years ago, i discovered them through their sophomore album, "Redshift Blues" and a simple attraction towards an album cover became something more because right then and there, i saw something greater brewing beneath the ideas that this band has offered us with that project.
I'm glad to be proven right, even if it took me MONTHS to finally listen to this. i am so stoked to see their journey moving forward.
