Brand New Eyes is pop punk/emo Paramore at their perfection. While I prefer All We Know is Falling I can't deny that this is the album where Hayley really finds her voice in songs like Brick By Boring Brick, Careful, and All I Wanted. Zac's drumming is off the charts here as well as in Riot! it wasn't really as great as I'd like it to be. Riot while being one of the most popular Paramore albums and rock albums of the 2000s it's definitely my least favorite by them and honestly it is Paramore at their worst, but it isn't entirely bad. I feel like its a huge step down from All We Know is Falling. I liked the rough and raw guitars on All We Know is Falling but here the guitars feel weak to me. This album is Paramore at their best, after the pop punk venture they were able to integrate pop rock, new wave, alt rock, and pop all into one album and make it feel fresh and unique from all their other works, before and after. The interludes split the album up nicely, it's like a bookmark for an album if you leave and come back to listen to it. This album is a must hear simply cause of how different each song is.
