This album about lived up to my expectations. Given that he divided his release into three albums this album is mainly Drake focusing on rap, and it mostly works. There’s some skips but there’s also a lot of great songs like Dust, Whisper My Name, and National Treasures. Overall a pretty good album that is also getting overhated on

Any minor flaws that Stick Season had have absolutely been corrected on this project The Great Divide. This was my most anticipated album of the year and it absolutely delivered, as it’s my current favorite project to release this year. Kahan captures the emotional void he feels as he tries to maintain his former personality despite his new found fame, and how empty it can make him feel to have such pivotal relationships in his life grow apart.
