this album gives me many feelings. guilt, sorrow, happiness, sympathy, and fear are some of the most powerful ones. hayden found a way to convey this absolutely chilling and devastating story so well with this record.

CRYBABY ERA COME BACK!!
okay so i’ve sat with this album for a while and i just never find myself wanting to listen to it again. some of the songs are great, but there are a good few that i just cannot listen to because of their lyrics or melanie’s excessive use of the vocoder.
definitely a step up from portals (if that’s saying anything). i get what she’s trying to do but i physically cannot listen to some of the songs without cringing a little. it’s not terrible by any means, but some songs just aren’t my thing.
