Super boundary-pushing and creative, before this I've only heard Rantau from Kagutsuchi's 'TEMBUS 7 LANGIT' album from earlier this year, and even then i genuinely thought there's nothing too inherently unique about Rantau. But i was wrong, so wrong. In this album: Experimental Hip-Hop, Funkot, Digicore, Metal, Dangdut, Hardstyle and Deconstructed Club all blending into this fuming eclectic and chaotic piece that is like no other thing I've ever heard before. ... read more
white dudes don t even say thank you no more they just look at you like this ππ€£
Whole Lotta Red. An album that I considered to be one of the best of all time. Carti's energy throughout the whole project is unmatched and is as eccentric as ever; with his sometimes baby-like—sometimes raspy vocal performance and the blown out adlibs become one of the most iconic in modern music that I feel like I've ever seen. And the production side on this album is just as mesmerizing: With the distorted and harsh sound the album brings pioneered a whole genre of Rage. ... read more
Die Lit is a step up from self titled, with more colorful yet nocturnal tone the album had to offer. Carti's infectious performance was constantly amazing throughout the whole project with the hypnotic production being the perfect companion of it, and the features being the cherry on top. If i could only listen to 10 records for the rest of my life, this album would 100% be included; such a fun bouncy intoxicating album with some of my favorite songs on the whole genre of Trap/Plugg. ... read more
Amazing debut. I feel like even on his first project, Carti has already seen the direction on what he'll have going on. The rapping was great, the production was on-point and all the features are amazing. What more could you ask for for a debut? Classic mixtape.

RED BURNS COMING !!!
Red Burns is the sophomore album of the New York based neo-soul experimental collective, Standing On The Corner. A collective that I first heard from Earl Sweatshirt's 'Some Rap Songs' through their feature on the song 'Ontheway!' which also happens to be one of my favorites on the album; And those boys absolutely deliver. Besides that I've also heard their first self-titled album, which I thought was pretty good—but got pretty dull in ... read more

Dazzling maze of psychedelic atmosphere, trippy production and raw vocals. it feels like you're passed out in a random crack house.
Underwhelming ngl. Mink's high-pitched vocals sounds too processed for me, and i'm also not quite fond about the very bright synth-electronic production—It got annoying pretty fast in my opinion. Idk how Fakemink next album gonna go, the last two releases approaching the album has been pretty mediocre imo.
