This album has been sitting in my library for quite some time. It's something I've knowingly avoided because I never felt like I was ready to hear it. But today, for no particular reason, I gave it a listen - and as many other reviews on here have stated, it is very, very sad.

Generational pop music. This grabs you by the neck and doesn’t let go. Just loud, unrelenting banger after banger. This makes me so excited for what music will sound like in the next ten years.
Major ‘Blade Runner’ vibes throughout this thing, but I’m not complaining! The way it mixes blues & jazz sounds is just so good, and gives the show such a unique, nostalgic feel. The score almost becomes a character in itself.
I’m definitely gonna carry that weight.
For me, the greatest thing music can offer is temporary solace from the noise of the outside world. I got all of that and more from this album. I’m very grateful to my friend for recommending this to me, and I’m genuinely surprised by the lack of ratings it has.
