Dirty Computer, along with its accompanying film, are perfect examples of why Janelle Monáe is one of the most talented women in music. Expanding on themes of sexism, racism, and empowerment explored in The ArchAndroid, Dirty Computer talks about these and many others in a completely fresh way.

Golden Hour is the type of record that you listen to once and you are a bit confused on why it's so critically acclaimed. But then you listen to it again. And again. And again. And then you realize that through simple ideas and pleasant sounds, Kacey Musgraves constructs a near perfect world that you want to live in forever.

Although Country Kylie nowhere near leaves the same enjoyability that Disco Kylie does, Golden is a great collection of songs that exhibit Kylie Minogue's most personal songwriting to date. Almost every track is unique with its own story, and the album's production is an absolute highlight. Dancing, the lead single, is also the catchiest song I've heard all year and my personal favorite.
Favorite tracks: Dancing, Golden, Live A Little, Radio On, Raining Glitter, Rollin'
The ArchAndroid is an eclectic, eccentric, genre-bending collection of songs that impress me more and more with each listen. Janelle Monáe's songwriting ability is unparalleled, and her ability to create and display a powerful storyline upstages the work of most movies that come out recently.
The ArchAndroid is my favorite album of all time, and I recommend anyone who even partially likes music to listen to this LP.
