Imma glaze Muse till I die because after about 20 listens I love this song now. I know its shit but I still love it, I don't really understand why.

A truly triumphant return to form by Gorillaz and an early contender for AOTY. Whilst this doesn't hit quite the same heights as Demon Days, Plastic Beach or even Song Machine from me it is a very consistent listen and there is rarely a track I don't like. I love the diversity of sound that we have come so used to hearing from Gorillaz. Having given this album a couple of listens now I think I have a fully formed opinion on it. This is somewhat of a departure from Tom Misch's sound on his other albums. It is less dancey and jazzy than his previous albums and takes a more introspective and stripped back approach. I do like the album and think the production is pretty fantastic throughout. This was better than I expected with the first half of the album legitimately being quite good, especially King, All the Love and Mama's Favourite. However, the last third sounded like AI slop that was just unfinished. In fact pretty much all of the songs sounded unfinished. Most of them had good ideas, but they didn't really go anywhere or were way too short. Also, Kanye's rapping on this was lazy and uninspired with pretty much every feature outshining him.
