This album offers a lot of great moments but the best aspect of it is the storytelling. If you don’t know it just go search a video about it right now. It’s an absolute masterpiece that’s explored specifically in tracks like “Sing about me, I’m dying of thirst”, “The Art Of Peer Pressure” and “m.A.A.d city”. Not to mention that the extra tracks add a lot of quality to the project.

In the light of “The College Dropout”, Kanye continues using his chipmunk soul production style and it hits really hard. While it has mainstream bangers like “Gold Digger” and “Touch the Sky” it also has more introspective tracks like “Roses”. Overall I still prefer tcd but this project is up there for being one of his greatest.
Best song: We Major
A mix of excellent chipmunk soul production and rapping from a young, hungry and ambitious Kanye make one of the best debut albums there is. With a stacked track list full of crazy features and skits that end up giving extra personality to the album, this is clearly a great start of a great career.
Best song: Two words
It’s a very solid project with it being only outtakes from tpab. But why the hell didn’t he give a name to each song. That’s just lame, but I can’t complain too much cause it’s a nice listen.
