Lifetime is an album that sticks to it's principles and doesn't do anything totally unique, but there's no denying it's another stunning addition to the downtempo sound. Unreal atmosphere mixed with the boom-bap drums and heavenly high-reverb vocals from Erika, it's a great experience overall.
Favourite songs : Miss and Delusional.
Least favourite : You Got It!.
GLASS JAW is let down by corny song structures, on the nose lyrics, repetitive instrumentation and an overall outdated sound.
There's some neat instrumentation in small pockets, Aries has some good vocal performances and IN THE FLESH is for sure a highlight and it certainly outshines everything else on here, but I don't see me coming back to this project.
Favourite songs : IN THE FLESH, ANESTHESIA and SLEEPWALKER.
Least favourite : WICHITA BLUES.
Blending electronic ear candy and ambience with club music so seamlessly, Afterglow provides us with that extra kick and pull factor that EUSEXUA was missing at parts. Twigs has a beautiful way of building these trippy worlds of something so weird yet accessible, and i'm all here for it.
Favourite songs : Wild and Alone, Slushy and Sushi.
Least favourite : Touch A Girl.
(Rating of new tracks only)
What an amazing set of tracks for this new version of EUSEXUA, i'm confused why these are not on Afterglow but nonetheless these 4 new tracks make the EUSEXUA experience so much better.
It's an ambitious and radical effort from ROSALÍA, although I'm not AS obsessed as others, Her stunning and belting vocals ignite the whole experience into one of the most beautifully arranged albums of 2025.
Favourite songs : Berghain, Dios Es Un Stalker and Reliquia.
Least favourite : Mundo Nuevo.
It's just stunning yet again because why wouldn't it be, It's mag fuckin bayyyy
With my music listening journey starting with soundcloud rappers in 2019-2020, it was to no surprise that 12 year old me got up extra early to listen to this tape the day it came out. 5 years go by and returning to this mixtape left me with nothing to really love musically, but a nice reminder of whatever was in the air during these days. A pretty nostalgic listen in conclusion.
Favourite songs : GO, NOT FAIR and MAYBE.
Least favourite : ERASE U.
Danny Brown assembles the alternative avengers to curate the most self-expressional album of 2025, balancing introspection and joy so seamlessly.
I'm completely in love with the direction Danny went in for this album and how does not care what anyone thinks about it. It's authenticity at it's finest. The music is worth every second too. That one hook will stay in your head all week and the production is so off the wall, but there's magic in that.

After are reviving a sound so aesthetically pleasing and catchy with this EP. So well written and produced, so straight forward structurally but so hard to deny sonically. Really nice.
Favourite songs : Deep Diving, The Field and Outbound.
By mixing the orchestral elements he came from with his unique and spacious approach to Art Pop, Johan Lenox creates a beautiful world on Full Speed Nowhere. It’s an album I can sit with for hours, dissecting each detailed instrumental layer by layer.
With that being said, some tracks get lost in the world they’re trying to build, creating messy song structures and losing that bite of memorability. I can also go either way on how Johan mixes his vocals, but tracks like Parasite ... read more
A beautiful and spiritual experience. An album you can tell has been taken into so much care and detail just by taking in the atmosphere and letting the soundscapes meditate you to peace.
Favourite songs : Root Of All Evil and Baby Blue.
Least favourite : No More Loving (On Women I Don't Love).
Definitely a switch-up in sound compared to the previous two singles, but still the same Mag Bay delivering as usual.
On an unexpected "album" Saba seems to throw us some pretty loose tracks that don't require the same amount of depth compared to his previous releases. It's still loose songs that are very well written and catchy though, because it's Saba.
Favourite songs : Today Years Old, high tides and my bro.
Least favourite : LOOKING FOR PARKING.
