Unlike j-hope's album "Jack In The Box", Indigo doesn't initially seem to have a clear concept or overarching story besides the paintings of Yun Hyong-keun and the color indigo, but after sitting with it for a while It seems to be a bit like a diary. Love when an artist croons in a broken kind of way because when it's just right it feels like your chest has been cracked open and your insides are feeling the warmth of the sunlight for the first time. Good album.

really great production and a really cool artistic direction RM is taking here. definitely some experimental stuff which I love to see from anyone coming out of the K-pop world. The music videos were amazing. you can definitely tell he's becoming more comfortable with expressing himself, artistically and musically. i have the advantage of not previously listening to the original song so suga's rap doesn't seem to out of place for me. good song, not always the biggest fan of halsey's singing style but i think her voice works very well with this kinda vibe. was pleasantly surprised by suga's vocals since i wasn't expecting any singing from him and it's exciting to hear him try out a new style and just sing in general. looking forward to see him grow more as a vocalist and independent artist and maybe i'll ... read more
