Charli xcx - SS26

Still kinda torn on this bare GarageBand-ass production but this is a really good tune

JPEGMAFIA - EXPERIMENTAL RAP

Peggy says he has no type beats but hes on his way to random bullshit type beats

Drake - ICEMAN

If anyone at work asks me if I've heard the new Drake I'm gonna just gonna say no

The Strokes - Falling out of Love
70

I will legitimately like this album more than New Abnormal it seems

Charli xcx - Rock Music
70

Lowkey ass but also kinda love it, would be better if drums were not ass. Funny track

Lip Critic - Theft World
86

200 Bottles goes so fucking hard

Muse - Cryogen
60

Its okay, I think theres alot of copium going on, as this is still a squashed to death lifeless imitation of a great Muse song. Not complete ass.

The Strokes - Going Shopping

Whenever Julian uses autotune, this site turns into a boomer filled mid 2000s Ultimate Guitar forum post. Its an artistic choice when anyone else does it but a crime when its Julian lol.

Its a breezy little tune, and honestly am looking forward to the album more than I was The New Abnormal

Boy Throb - Number One Boy

Its throb o clock ⏰️ 💜⏰️

Angine de Poitrine - Vol.II

They are good at their thing, but to be honest they've lost their charm for me very quickly. Kind of another gimmicky overhyped use of mictrotonal music

Osees - Cara Maluco
69

Cara Maluco is just Penetrating Eye but put in a microwave

Metallica - St. Anger

This truly is a pretty dogshit album. I always figured the snare discourse was overblown but, not as overblown as the snare itself.

Daphni - Butterfly
71

A cool album of bright house bangers, that doesn't hit the minimalist charm of Cherry

Charli xcx - Wuthering Heights
70

Its okay.

Favs: Chains of Love, Wall of Sound, Altars

Oneohtrix Point Never - Tranquilizer

If a computer could be milked, this is what the milk would sound like. Think about that for a minute, it does make perfect sense

Oneohtrix Point Never - Rodl Glide
86

This is shaping up to be one of Daniel's best

Charli xcx - House featuring John Cale
70

There's a glimmer of potential for a new direction for Charli, but besides the wonderfully brooding and blown out production, Charli feels more like the feature here. And I admire John Cale but he never really lands for me

Oneohtrix Point Never - D.I.S.

Really didn't wanna listen to all the singles but, man they've all been great and the music videos too

Oneohtrix Point Never - tra

The clouds were moving kinda wierd this morning while I listened to For Residue and I felt like I was in another reality

"Makes perfect sense"
On Muse - Cryogen
"@TheContract12 why does autotune and simplicity have to equate to a lower score? Maybe in this case, I prefer the simplistic, lighter sound of that song versus the production on this one. And let's not pretend this is some complex peice of work or Muse's best. I was a much bigger Muse fan back in the day compared to The Strokes, so I have alot stronger opinions on what Muse does compared to The Strokes. Let's not do that thing where you look at someone's scores and go "you rated 'A' this so your opinion about 'B' is invalid". Its okay if we have different tastes."

"I havent listened to it yet but, I felt the same way about To See The Next Part Of The Dream, it just almost hurt to listen to, pretty bad mix. After The Magic felt like a big improvement tho I hope we haven't reverted. Lo-fi doesn't have to mean physically uncomfortable to hear"
