UTOPIA by Travis Scott is, in my opinion, an ambitious masterpiece. If it wasn't for K-POP, this would be near-perfect. This album is Travis experimenting with different subgenres and concepts, with clear inspirations from Yeezus, Whole Lotta Red, and more that I don't feel like thinking of. Tracks like FE!N, MODERN JAM, and CIRCUS MAXIMUS all show very clear inspirations from other artists. A Collection of Fleeting Moments and Daydreams by Orion Sun is an underrated gem. I discovered Orion Sun earlier today on Spotify when it does that thing where it plays random music from that genre, and loved the song I heard, which was Mirage. I immediately loved the muffled, lofi beat and the beautiful vocals. I immediately listened to the album.

IGOR by Tyler, The Creator is groundbreaking. This album is Tyler showing that he can do much more than rap, which he had started to show on Flower Boy, but IGOR shows his other skills flourish. The refreshingly vintage production and vocals were attempted on Cherry Bomb, but done much better on here. These Two Windows by Alec Benjamin is uninteresting. It's acoustic pop. Nothing more. Nothing less.

This album is trying to be well written. It is not well written. Almost every song is based around a bad and/or far overused metaphor, and makes this album sound like a mashup of different pop songs from the mid-2010s.
