bro I ordered a shirt months ago and it still isn't here... fuck u Peggy.
rating this a little late, but listened to it when it first came out and thought it was a banger and replayed it tonight and it was even better. can't wait for this duo to crank out another great album again.
Just had to come back on this account to settle this stupid ass discourse. How can you not enjoy this song. The beat is so energetic and SGC has an extremely dynamic flow all throughout the song. And that chorus... DAMN. People will spend hours trying to find something that catchy and still not find it. This single gives me so much hype for this album.
I'd say it's about 50/50 with good and bad songs, but the good songs really do punch through.
Maybe he called it God Does Like Ugly to make Don Toliver feel more comfortable. What a kind soul.

Really solid production on this, and Yeat clearly keeps getting better lyrically as time goes on. This makes me very excited for his next album release.
I found very few points in this LP where I was getting bored. Raekwon absolutely killed this shit, serving masterfully calculated rhymes on a batch of fantastic beats! The features also helped to keep this album from feeling dull at any point, whether it be from the Griselda trio Benny, Conway, and WSG or from the legendary Nas, they made this album flow so well with Raekwon. I think the biggest surprise to me was Raekwon and Ghostface on tracks again together. It really makes it feel like we ... read more
I love how Freddie switched up his flows a lot of different times around this song and Alc of course carried crazy production with him. If this is how the album is going to sound, I'm here for a AOTY contender.
One of the most enthralling and intricate albums I've ever dissected. To begin, the instrumentation on this album is unparalleled. The effects, the drums from Questlove, and the dreamy mixed with grimy tones on here are absolutely stunning. This album from start to end is played out backwards. The intro track "Dun" starts off with a flat line from the concept character of the album, "Redford". This indicates that Redford has died, and listening on through the album ... read more
One of the greatest albums of the 2010s and one of Tyler's most well-connected albums. This album is a 40-minute breakup from the start of a hidden relationship between Tyler and this unknown man. Tyler wants his significant other to view their relationship in the same way, but he can't as he keeps this relationship with him under wraps as he is publicly dating a woman. Tyler feels he runs out of time to make this man who has no name his, and just wishes at a climax in the album to ... read more
Honestly, there are only a few awful songs on here, but the rest are just lackluster. Every feature on here is extremely out of Benny's league, besides Bun B and WSG. Thankfully, Bun B had a great feature on In The Wall, and it is for sure my favorite from all the songs on here. WSG, I can't say the same. I love his rapping usually, but he was really out of his norm on Jasmine's. Getting to Benny, he is not nearly as god awful as some of the features on here like Bruiser Wolf or ... read more
Clipse are back and better than ever before in this masterpiece. Every single song on here absolutely slaps with god-tier production from no other than Pharrell. Not to mention, every song is crafted meticulously with great intent from Malice and Pusha and many carry features that fit in so elegantly with the production and style of the songs. From the first few listens, I can confidently say right now that this is the best album of 2025 and that this album is hip/hop PERFECTION!
A wonderful album by Danny Brown that makes you never want to do drugs ever. The fact that I understood everything he was saying on these tracks made it even more difficult for me to listen to. Sometimes I listen through albums without fully understanding all the themes and ideas the artist is hinting at through the lyrics, but Danny puts it on full display in every single song. After allowing his ongoing drug addiction to control him, Danny found himself in the twisted world depicted in this ... read more
