Metallica - Ride the Lightning

Some really amazing tracks with great riffs!

Metallica - Kill 'Em All

Repetetive at times. Some tracks are great.

Metallica - Metallica

I liked this a alot even though I come more from calssic old school heavy metal.

Black Sabbath - Sabotage
95

Why didn't I listen to this sooner? Enjoyed it a lot!

Saturnalia Temple - To the Other
79

Enjoyable.

Edit: 85 to 76.

Actually only really liked one song.

Bongripper - Terminal
90

One of my favourite doom-metal albums!

Sepultura - Chaos A.D.
78

Too rough/atonal/dissonant and wall-of-music for me. I appreciate the art tough.

Dio - Holy Diver
88

Legendary early heavy-metal/rock and roll.

Witchcraft - Legend
82

I found it to be quite enjoyable. The future will show how much re-listen value it has.

Judas Priest - Invincible Shield
88

Deserving. One of the better albums of this decade concerning NWOBHM. Carries some of the old energy. Best albums since the old stuff! Firepower and reedemer of Souls are the next best ones, the ones before until their old stuff sucks.

Judas Priest - Firepower
85

Enjoyable. Their 2 newest ones are the most enjoyable apart from the very old stuff and the dip in the 2000s.

Judas Priest - Redeemer of Souls
84

Completely alright. Not fantastic though. Their earlierst work is the best. This ist still some pretty good quality though. It is lacking compared to their early career though. Much better than the previous 2 albums (Nostradamus and Angel of Retribution).

Messa - The Spin
88

I love it.

Judas Priest - Nostradamus
68

Probably one of my least favorite albums of Judas Priest with a few strong moments here and there. Reminds me of the worse albums of Iron Maiden.

Judas Priest - Angel of Retribution
85

Actually cool album. Some average songs, but some sound pretty cool. Not particularly special but still good metal, cool gritty riffs. I like.

Judas Priest - Painkiller
96

Sick album. Very fast paced but many riffs and compositions are insane!

"Amazing album. I love it!"
On DragonForce - Warp Speed Warriors
"Probably will at some point. But to be honest, I am not a huge fan of many of the metal subgenres. I really like hard rock and metal that comes close to hard rock or is heavily influenced by it. What I can still get behind is early power and speed metal from the likes of Judas Priest and similar bands that developed the sound. I just like NWOBHM, NWOBTM the most and am reviewing a lot to find more stuff I like, probably in that direction. Just the classic heavy metal, just the regular rocking. Relaxed and strong riffs for fast driving, not 300 km/h super-warp-speed riffs. But if you have any suggestion in that direction, that would be great."
On Ambush - Desecrator
"Yeah! I listened to both, but after about 2 hours of straight blasting, I noticed I was distracted and didn't pay much attention anymore. So I listened to this album again and plan to listen to their newer album again soon too. But in a way so that I can describe what's going on. Then I'll also add a rating."
On Paradise Lost - Draconian Times
"Yeah, I saw your rating. I am a fan of gothic metal in terms of Unto Others, In Solitude and The Night Eternal. I'll check it out again soon."

On Wytch Hazel - Prelude
"Yeah, I listened to IV and III first. And was very surprised by their unique style. I don't love it but I am intrigued and it's very pleasurable and interesting. But when I discovered the older albums, with every older album they sort of sounded less interesting."
