post-punk/gothic rock have so much indebted to Bauhaus. my GOATs forever.
One of the most beautiful and underrated gothic rock albums ever made

(Real review coming soon)
Beautiful and I’d say there’s even room for this album to grow on me :)
Really really good. The only demerit is the orgee track… bro what was that…
Twinkly midwest emo guitars are the best thing to happen to music since the invention of the telecaster‼️
Criminally underrated album. This is Bob Dylan, Joni Mitchell, Neil Young, and Nick Drake level songwriting. Adrianne Lenker creates magic on this album and it deserves worlds more recognition than it gets.
This album reveals the world Phil Elverum finds himself in after the tragic passing of his wife, told from his direct perspective in a journal-like manner. This project is the most honest, genuine, and heartfelt display of grief. An unavoidable part of the human experience. This album proves that as real as death is, just as real is love.
Thank you Phil Elverum.
Fuck the asshole parodying one of the most genuine and heartfelt albums about loss and grief. Its upsetting what lengths people will go to try to get a laugh.
50+ year old men trying to pretend they’re still in their 20’s and relevant. Not as horrible as their 2020 album, but this album is the definition of dull and soulless. Typical for a genre as plastic and cookie cutter as Pop Punk, a genre that should have died in the 90’s but for some reason we are still pumping out albums. On top of all that, this album sounds like the last 7. Green Day’s notorious lack of musical evolution is laughable. #endpoppunk2024
Alright. This album is interesting and consistent but somewhat boring and predictable. The production feels more gimmicky than creative, and the vocals come across as edgy and corny.
