The songs are nice enough but it sounds literally exactly what you would expect from a McCartney modern solo album. IDK what it was though, the songs are very touching and sweet but I got literally nothing out of most of them besides a quick thought of "well that was cute". But that's just the negatives. I do truly how the songs all sound and the musical structures of everything was really nice and sweet. I just wish there was some variety or something surprising.

I'm a little disappointed in the lack of garage rock from these singles because I thought those moments were really good on Sour and Guts, but I'm also not one to criticize an artist doing different stuff.
Howlin' Wolf sounds amazing on here and the band is absolutely killer. Clapton is still in his guitar prime on this album and it all sounds so chill and laid back.
I'm not going to lie, I've listened to the multiple versions of Smile-related projects and it never really clicked for me. And this is just a worse version of those. It has its own charms though. It's very chill and laid back compared to the Smile Sessions or BWP Smile, at least in my opinion. It's also intensely weird.
