This is not bat at all it would be interesting to see Bebe evolve with this sound approach
This album is a damn rollercoaster, but a vibe. It is incredibly cohesive and nostalgic with all the beats and added sounds. However, it does fall into the more predictable and mainstream type of music. The blends are interesting and catchy even if too much calculated and less "free". Her vocals are amazing tho I feel like her vocal approach elevates the album by a mile.
Standout tracks: Love Me Land, Poster Girl, Look What You've Done, Ruin My Life, Stick With You
Okay, wow. This surprised me more than I was expecting, in my head this would be heavily comercial. Gorgeous vocals and harmonies, a lot of instrumental experimentation, it might get a little too much sometimes with the flow of the tracks, but it’s very captivating and addictive at the same time.
Standout tracks: Follow The White Rabbit, Effortlessly, Stay Numb And Carry On, Selfish.
Uh, this is filled with weird blends and transitions all over.
It's fun and somehow a vibe but not great, a lot lacks sadly. I did missed them tho.
Standout tracks: 25, My Bones, Turning Gold, Rock and Roll Heaven.
*focusing on the new songs only*
I loved Future Nostalgia mainly because of all the production blends and past/future elements being intertwined.
The deluxe version butchers a little bit the initial concept of the album. Even though the majority of the tracks are enjoyable, catchy and overall electric, there are so many commercial choices - this ruins the cohesion and honestly the overall value of the album.
Standout tracks: Prisoner, If It Ain’t Me, That Kind of Woman.
Yeah the small alterations hit HIT. I like that it has the essential feel of Love Story and the experience is even better with this version. This makes me crazy excited for the re-recorded album.
Quite an interesting project, it feels like it tries to attempt too many things at once, but at the same time it captivates you - maybe if the track order would be different the overall album would actually flow better.
Standout tracks: DNA, Change Your Life, Turn Your Face, Case Closed.
Salute actually sounds crazy promising - it's a bit late after the release - but considering it's the group's second album, well damn! The r&b vibe suited them quite well on this project and also the way their vocals were so nicely aligned with the production.
Standout tracks: Salute, Move, Little Me, Competition, These Four Walls.
This album lacks a lot of cohesion and actually sense between the songs, it kinda gave the vibe of an almost-filler-only type of project. Their vocal ability, blends and harmonies help carry it without any doubt.
Standout tracks: Hair, Lighting, Secret Love Song Pt. II.
One of the group's most commercial album, regarding artistic choices and the production from the overall songs. However, it is catchy as hell and almost every track makes you want to listen again.
Standout tracks: Shoutout To My Ex, Touch, Down & Dirty, No More Sad Songs, Nothing Else Matters.
The best part of this album is how mature they sound and how mature the lyrics actually are. I had a lot of instant love moments with some of the songs and a few it-will-grow-on-me moments, but amazing vocal delivery, interesting blends and a bit of a challenging(?) production in a way.
Standout tracks: Think About Us, Strip, Joan of Arc, Told You So, Motivate, The Cure, Woman’s World.
The way this angel combined my favorite tracks from A Different Kind of Human parts 1 and 2....truly magical.
It's good and bad basically. A nice song to have on the playlist and dance from time to time, but it's not a grabber-type track.
A beautiful album that actually matched the rainy day today. This project isn't bad, but it misses greatness and boldness. I am in love with the lyrics and Hayley's voice - the blends and layered sounds specially - but most of the tracks don't really grab me, they seem too similar in ways that kinda distract you.
Standout tracks: My Limb, Wait On, Inordinary, Just a Lover.
Quite generic, it actually starts promising but it gets way too predictable - it's still catchy but it could be a lot more spiced up on the production and the overall arrangements.
