I don't know how to explain it but this album is so clean, the production is so fun and whimsical and it also gives major beach vibes, there's no song here that wasn't interesting or relaxing to listen to....never bores you.. why isn't this a must listen? It's so gooood

If I've ever heard Jamie's frightened and unsettling voice in the middle the night it would literally scare the shit out of me butttt...in this case I think I find it very fitting for the overall ritualistic vibe of the song, also I've watched the music video of it and it was interesting as well...I don't think I would listen to this daily or something butttt it's a pretty cool experience especially if you're on your bed while staring the ceiling and just immersed ... read more

It's a bit of a mixed bag here I mean there's no song here that is unlistenable it's just that sometimes I feel like it misses something.
There are some songs that I liked like get got, The fever (aye aye), I've seen footage and bitch please but that's it, I've also added other couple songs to my playlist just to re-listen, the problem is that some songs I feel like they have really good elements but then they fall a bit flat

Actually not bad as I expected but still bad, it's just very very bland every song except the singles seem like they're building up to something but then finish to have the same beat over and over again, and it's tiring.

I hate the high pitched voice thing she does ... it's annoying sincerely.

I honestly prefer the dreaming, but this album has its charm too obviously..
I prefer the second part (the ninth wave) over the first (hounds of love) tho, I like the first part it has some bops like cloudbusting and the big sky and it has this light-hearted, nostalgic and comfortable feeling to it which i love but in my opinion the second part is much better because of its creativity and storytelling.

This album was very enjoyable I love Stephen Malkmus voice it just fits the overall vibe of all the songs. Every song on here sounds very nostalgic and I feel like I'm in some movie while listening to this songs, my favorite songs are probably stereo, embassy row, transport is arranged and date with Ikea
but I think I have to listen to this album more especially the last three songs

Today I listened to billions bc I've been meaning to listen to Caroline polachek and I chose this song to start.... And it was the only song I've listened all day. Is this an eargasm? How can she make her voice sound like that? Also this song sounds really like something out of vespertine and also like Imogen heap, Caroline I wasn't familiar with your game this song is literally perfection.
