Wasn't crazy about this - strong start but didn't care for the second half so much.
Amo esto. No puedo creer que no sea más popular. Genuinamente tan lleno de contenido y sonidos y samples y instrumentos, es realmente hermoso.
Really strong project overall! Think Fiona establishes or sets her distinct sound with this record and I love it so much! I do think it falls off a bit by the very end - not to say that the last songs are bad, I still like them, I just believe them to be a lot slower than the rest of the record and don't follow the same sound she stuck to for the other songs, especially in 'I Know'. Would have also loved to hear more of that 'warping' production sound she used in songs ... read more

So vulnerable and minimalistic, but you spend the entire project waiting for Annahstasia to finally break away from whatever is restraining her just for that to never occur. Phenomenal nonetheless.
Album so good the government had to take away her ability to make good music so she put out TLOAS.
Got sick of this concept real fast. Few highlights on this album. Kim's voice doesn't compliment the album's sound to the fullest. Detour feels like a held back version of HALO by Tiffany Day.
Incredible composition from Sufjan Stevens. I can listen to Illinois on genuinely any occassion. When on the train, when washing dishes, when alone in my room. I've honestly come to perceive this album as an entity that follows me and sticks by me wherever I go. It's simply that comforting.
This was so much fun! I don't get the hate at all. I fully agree that her vocals need polishing but I think overall they were tolerable and her voice suits the sound that she goes for very well! Incredible production and instrumentation behind tracks, I'm kinda blown away because I had no idea Maya Hawke made music like this.
