Renard - Because Maybe
84

While there's a good amount of samples in where they just use the MOST ARBITRARY SAMPLE and attempt to make it work with their goofball ass breakbeat to a midpoint or little avail, the mixing on all of the songs are undeniably great. A good amount of the samples synergize with the beats, and some of them even synergize to the point where the emotion displayed fits perfectly within the song.

Although I am NOT putting this shit on the aux.

Mos Def - The Ecstatic
87

Drop the fucking album on DSP AND STOP PLAYING RECORD CONTROL DOWNTOWN RECORDS.

This album is amazing through and through. With really tight production and Mos Def being just as lyrical as he was back in the 90s. Although I have some gripes with the mixing choices on a few songs, this is a great album and definitely a standout amongst his solo catalogue.

Fishmans - 98.12.28 男達の別れ [98.12.28 Otokotachi no wakare]
100

I'm never spiritually recovering from this.

11.

Fishmans - LONG SEASON
100

I am never emotionally recovering from this.

Joey Valence & Brae - NO HANDS

BITCH YOU A SQUARE YOU ROBLOX 🔥🔥🔥🗣️🗣️

¥$ - VULTURES 2
60

Slide, Promotion, River, 530, and Forever Rolling are stand-outs and are ranging from really good to great.

the mixing on some of these songs are absolutely mediocre and a terrible excuse for somebody of his stature to have.

AI usage is literally depressing bruh, it's sad to see one of my favorite artists turning out like this dawg..

Not a very pleasing first listen.

¥$ - SLIDE
82

Fire production with Ty carrying the fucking song.

The Smiths - Meat Is Murder
81

local british band gets political. ends up making a groovy as fuck album with some really great songs.

if eating meat pisses off morrissey though im gonna enjoy tonights taco bell 10x more.

Vince Staples - Big Fish Theory
83

that's a pretty cool fish vince, and this is a pretty cool album.

JPEGMAFIA - I LAY DOWN MY LIFE FOR YOU
97

First half was already great enough but MAN that second half.. holy shit.

DPAOTB is actually fucking peak bro holy shit. The guitar work throughout the entire album was done amazingly, hats off to Peggy for once again dropping an amazing album to self diagnose myself with being mentally disabled to.

Edit: 91 >> 97
I may be just be slightly neurodivergent.

The Smiths - The Smiths
84

I am once reminded again that the british are exceptional at rock and that this band & the lead singer in specific leaves me in shambles knowing the album is actually great with a dogass human being

The Smiths - This Charming Man
99

buddy is not a charming man but this song sure is.

Lupe Fiasco - Samurai
87

Exceptional album from Lupe. Some of these songs haven't been able to get out of my head recently. Literally never heard an album from this guy before but this is a great start so far. The lyricism is great and so is the flow & melody on all of these songs. The Nujabes influence in these beats are really noticeable as well.

Jeff Buckley - Grace
98

This is nigh perfection in my personal opinion. The vocal ability displayed in this album is absolutely outrageous, this dude literally dropped an album of this caliber and got snuffed out too soon. Long live Jeff Buckley, and rest in peace.

87

Literally depression at its rawest form.

Captain Beefheart - Trout Mask Replica
80

This album has convinced me that I am schizophrenic.

Kanye West - The College Dropout
90

Iconic album. ZERO misses. Two Words is my favorite on here.

60

It's okay. A lot of mid songs but there's certainly enjoyable ones. Mixing is just ass especially evident on KING and CARNIVAL, that's all.

Kanye West - Yandhi
89

Fuck you, Kanye Omari West.

This album in MY HUMBLEST OPINION has no skips and its an actual fucking tragedy it got bagged for JIK. Could've been generational but "Jesus did the laundry" 💔....

billy woods - History Will Absolve Me
85

I'm definitely getting fucking banned from the aux with this one.

This shit is straight banging tho...
