extremely beautiful and emotionally charged melodic death doom
pretty decent death metal, nothing too special but it has a fun atmosphere about it
unfortunately the band's worst project (other than the dreaded grey ep) in my opinion but that does not mean by any means it is bad. still a phenomenal album
this album genuinely might be better than the mantle. i dont think it is quite as good as ashes against the grain but this is still one of the best albums ive ever had the pleasure of listening to. it is so emotional and beautiful and sorrowful and i could go on and on about how amazing this album is
this would be a lot higher for me if not for the corny soundbites they use. the actual musicianship and vocals are pretty great but my score for the album gets taken down quite a lot by the soundbites
