this is some top notch shoegaze from japan. just a recent discovery, i can't assemble this record to their previous, but i read this one is less hard. the harmony on this record is unbelievable. soft shoegaze elements combined with indie rock and mellow vocals.
Some important things are said on this record. The short length makes it a wealthy snack for quick listening. The instrumentation is a little too experimental for a pop album, which makes it a harder listen. So it's short but requires some brain cells to finish. But as I said, it's like a snack, you're eating a little wisdom while listening.
Every listen brought me joy. What a jangly experience, weird chords, cosy lyrics, fluffy drums. Mac is a great guy, and a fantastic musician. Makes me wanna fall in love and be happy. And that was not easy!
it is nice, sweet pop music, just cozy and cuddly. it basically sounds like the cover looks.
