Perfect score is glaze but I enjoyed every track to the fullest, which is something I never fully get from most albums. Already going in my top 20 list.

This mixtape is as raw and unseasoned as the chicken this dude probably eats. Ian just apes better Southern hip-hop artists over some of the most basic garage band beats. The remaster makes this album sound perfect.

The first two thirds of this project is instrumentals that blue-ball you with the worst vocals you’ve ever heard. The last bit is fucking atrocious. The lyrics are completely nonsensical, too. This dude is legit just hooting and hollering.

A lot of empty. It’s a forgettable but inoffensive listen. This has to go on record as one of the least interesting things I’ve ever listened to. At no point is it ever explicitly bad but there’s just absolutely nothing of note throughout this entire album.

My math teacher cooked with this recommendation, holy shit.

A frankly hidden gem that I’m surprised picked up absolutely zero interest. I kid you not when I say that I got this thrown in for free to my cd purchase of “MONEY” by KMFDM. Nearly every song here is fun, although it is sometimes paired with bad creative decisions (example: the bridge on Demon’s Arm), but this is still a really fun and decently written industrial rock listen.

I had an internship with Martin Atkins and he and Paul Raven swear on their lives that Kurt Cobain sent Killing Joke a letter saying “thanks for the riff” after coming out with Nevermind (they blatantly plagiarized the riff from “Eighties” in “Come As You Are). They couldn’t find the letter, which was their only piece of evidence, and lost the lawsuit. PPIM was also cool asf.

Bar-for-bar phenomenal quality, especially in the first half. Not every track is a super winner (ex. Drunk and Hot Girls), but the pure joy and euphoria that radiates from this project is unlike anything else I've ever seen. This is just a really happy album and Kanye that I wish we could see more of these days. The only thing that bugs me about Kanye's older work is that you can see glimpses of he monster he would become (sexuality turned lust, substance use turned addiction, etc.).

This duo was great and I can't wait to see their next endeavors together. My only gripes with this project are that the inconsistent quality of tracks and that some ideas that could be further expanded upon (ex. Deer Witch). Overall a great listen.

I honestly don’t know where to start with this or how to organize my thoughts. When an album has potential, it really sucks when it misses the mark. I discovered this cd by perusing through Waiting Room Records in Normal, Illinois. This band is most likely the work of college friends given the indie/amateur sound, the songs’ subjects, and the general packaging of the disc. I picked it up because the cover went incredibly hard.

This track (or series of tracks) was nothing short of phenomenal. I won’t spoil anything, so please listen on your own time and experience it yourself.

This album absolutely blew me away. I decided to give it a listen after hearing that it’s an electronic album without percussion. I don’t mean to be that guy, but there is percussion in the form of synths that make a thud, pluck, or zap sound when played. These usually follow, compliment, or are the melodies. A number of cover songs that honestly sound worse than the originals. A wedding DJ would probably play this is he didn’t have the rights to the originals for some reason. It’s an inoffensive and pleasant listen, and I can tell that Billie Armstrong and Green Day enjoyed making this project, but it honestly sounds like background music in the truest sense of the word.
