Proof that music doesn't need to be poetry to be fun or interesting.
Favorite track: "Beware"
Least favorite track: "Culture Shock" (I still fw it)
Idk if this is TMI, but "I Talk to the Wind" is perfect after a love-making sesh.
Excellent debut album with fantastic production. Every track is a blast from front-to-back and back-to-front. It's just a damn shame that Carti hasn't gotten much better imo.
Quite the mixed bag of an album. Its highs are higher than Die Lit but its lows are much lower.
Edit:

Absolutely fantastic posthumous release from Mac Miller's producers, friends, and family. Additionally, most of the funds from this project go to the Mac Miller Fund, so you can enjoy it guilt-free unlike Juice WRLD's posthumous works. "Friendly Hallucinations" and "Funny Papers" are my favorite tracks.

The Powers That B is my absolute favorite hip-hop (if you can even call it that) album of all time. Both halves of the album compliment each other perfectly, with NOTM having significantly more laid-back and minimalist instrumentals (with Björk samples, ofc) and excellent pen game, while Jenny Death has balls-to-the-wall inaccessible and angry tunes, with its swan song being "On GP," a track that has made me cry countless times on multiple occasions. It takes some listens to ... read more
