What does How to Disappear mean to you?
Otherwise known as the act of leaving without a single trace of evidence left behind.
Disappear for me is when you stop loving the things you love.
I always wanted to Disappear.
December 24th, 2021:
Myself. In the realm of my own existence, envisioning a transcendence into the dimension between life and death, where the conventional constraints of time and space are rendered irrelevant, It would be blissful. In this ethereal state, serenity would ... read more
O gênero Rock pode ... read more
"Disembodied. Melancholy. Paralyzing. Head is humming."
It's very hard to break the mold within a scene when the vast majority of releases are, at best, mediocre.
But Gatherers, on their fourth album, proves to be more alive than ever.
Mutilator is heart wrenching, and deliver us an harsh but fresh journey, throught an energetic and well-structured melancholy.
Brazen in their delivery of raw expression and brutally honest, Gatherers have never been a band that shy away from ... read more
"Our hearts lay on the bedroom floor.
And one was mine,
but both were yours."
When SMITHEREENS was announced I was a little afraid, especially for the time length. A twenty-four minute full lenght album made me think that maybe this release was already destined to be something full of fillers. But what really held back all the certainty that it was going to be a maybe solid release were the singles. The magnum opus for the broken hearts, Glimpse of Us and the fast, but fresh and ... read more
Carly Rae Jepsen could do The Bends but Radiohead couldn't do Bends
uhhh I'm missing something or what?
This sounds like any other generic country pop we've heard a thousand times before.
She's trying so hard to make this emotional, especially on the lyrics, but all I can think and feel is ''I'm 14 and this is deep''. Production and vocals is on point in majority of the songs along the album, but everything here sounds so unstructured and messy that the good elements faded into the background.
$uicideboy$ were better in 2015 (but thank God, they're still dropping bangers).
I'm big fan of the boy$, but the latest works was a little bland for me.
And I'm very proud of this new album, really a fresh breeze on their discograhy.
Solid production, specially on the samples and in the vocal performance.
also THAT SAMPLE OF 'KLLO - BOLIDE' ON 1000 Blunts made me smile instantly, for real!!!
Rest in peace, Tim Feerick. You will always be missed dearly.
Dance Gavin Dance is one of my favorite bands. And I'm aware that some people don't enjoy them (yes, Fantano, I'm pointing at you, bald man), and if you have heard an album by this band before and didn't like it, Jackpot Juicer probably won't be your cup of tea.
In a way, DGD has been releasing albums with the same formula for over a decade, but unlike most of the bands in this scene, they have in their line-up the best musicians ... read more
Chasing safety sometimes is not the best way.
Underoath is a giant band in this scene and have helped pave many paths in the Post-Hardcore/Metalcore way and it is extremely important to recognize that.
But not everything ages like wine.
In their new project, Underoath shows itself like most bands in this scene nowadays, generic and in a gigantic comfort zone.
I really can't say this album is all bad, but everything here sounds so messy and bland that it's hard to say it was a good release. ... read more
