Gets extra points cuz I went into this thinking I'd hate it. Not a fan of this genre but this was so enjoyable. Really unique
**UPDATE**
I have played this way too much I don't even like this genre but these songs are addictive lmao, boosting rating 80 -> 85. So well produced its crazy, so many layers of sound to every song. It bops
Really fun album. Got bored a lot though. Lyrics are kinda boring but overall I enjoyed this.
Mixes are great, nothing wrong with the album at all, definitely enjoy this more than before. I think every song is good, but I do not like the Young Nudy feature at all
Was surprised from all the 0s until I actually gave it a full listen, not just skipping through. Every song sounds exactly the same and the lyrics genuinely don't make any sense, feels like some sort of AI trained on sad emo rap trying to generate songs XD|
I'll still give it above 20 because the music production technically isn't terrible, but I struggled to listen to this it was just boring, and I don't even mind sad rap that most people on this site think is cringe
Very enjoyable with multiple classics on here. Surprisingly better than I thought, even though I already liked a lot of their work
A fun listen. Like the first sample. Just a fun little project nothing wrong with it, enjoyable listen
Think he fell off with this one. Just a bit boring. Also, I feel like its a bit repetitive from his earlier works in terms of themes.
I actually really like this; great late night study music. Its really only for a certain mood for me.
[🎙Seen Live] [💽 Own the Vinyl] Yeah its been years since I've first listened to this, it only got better and I can still play this every single day. I think its perfect, and I prefer it to TBAP.
Absolutely amazing. From track 7 to 10 is actually such a crazy streak of great music, its unbelievable, some of the best back to back songs in albums I have ever heard.
Really hard to get into; wouldn't really recommend it unless you are a Tyler the creator fan. Objectively this should be lower, but in context of the Wolf Trilogy, and if you really look deep into it, there is actually a decent amount of effort put into the lyrics and production of these tracks. It definitely is different; but I still think there's a lot of beauty to it. "She" has no business being that good on an album like this, it seems so out of place
3rd album of the wolf trilogy; 2nd chronologically. In context of the trilogy, this is the best, effectively linking Bastard and Goblin. It also has some timeless bangers for sure, although it does have some strange bits that won't be for everybody.
Very very ahead of its time. If you sit and listen to the whole thing, it is obvious how much this album influenced all of hip hop, clearly even influencing the early greats. Must listen for hip hop fans
First listen: 72/100, seems a bit strange and hard to understand, but plenty of bangers.
But if you really dig into this album, especially if you are willing to sit through "A Deep Dive into DAMN" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v-ek1OxZ2tE , you start to realize all the themes in this album, and it is truly a masterpiece.
I am such a fan of the dual themes constantly throughout the album, as well as the different meanings if you play it in reverse. It is very deep and personal, and ... read more
Pretty similar sounding songs, well produced and a fun listen. Kendrick verse was amazing
I will die on this hill; this album is really great. The production is very clean, catchy hooks and is really fun. The lyrics aren't the craziest on each track, but I think its definitely worth a listen. Every time I come back to this I'm never disappointed.
Criminally underrated. The production on this is crazy, sounds like madvillainy. Its not perfect but god damn it is amazing
