I think people are pretty harsh to this guy, he's a mostly solo artist that makes fun little bedroom pop songs, usually very quickly and for FUN. Not my type of music at the moment, a lot of it sounds really sounds the same from album to album, but its not "bad". Lyrics could really be more creative, pretty dull and generic heartbreak pop (and LOTS of repetition). He seems to show some sort of self awareness in one of these songs but it immediately turns back into generic pop sounding ... read more
Uninteresting and boring, serious downgrade from usual. Not awful, but not what you would expect from TV Girl. That being said, this rating is still deserved even without the bias of it being "not up to standard"; objectively even if you went into this blind it would be boring and hard not to skip.
Just really tame and not as interesting, still some great songs on here but as an album its lacking personality
Very enjoyable to listen to, catchy guitar leads and overall well made.
[🎙Seen Live] [💽 Own the Vinyl] Amazing production and lyrics; his best work in my opinion. Extremely creative and experimental, yet it all just works so well.
[🎙Seen Live: Let's Start Here Tour & Chromokopia Tour] Underrated as fuck.
Don't know where this album came from, but its an amazing switch-up, definitely keep an eye on Lil Yatchy in the future. Thanks to whoever gave this guy acid. Love where inspiration was drawn for, and it looks like he really tried here. Great pacing too
It's got some masterpieces in it, has as screenplay written with it, and is pretty decent but is still lacking in terms of production.
Painful to listen to, and I don't even think his previous work is that awful. Seriously terrible album
Not bad but not very good. Om is a great song. I like the production, but the lyrics were a bit boring, just a fun little project I guess. Pretty overhated honestly in my opinion, still solid, I guess standards for MF Doom are super high.
Extremely enjoyable album to listen to, absolutely amazing sound design & lyrics. Really great story telling. Isn't lacking anything, no filler, pretty much perfect album. Only lower because its not as playable as some other top albums I like.
Pretty good, a few stand out, all easy listens. -1 point for all the poop jokes
Absolute pleasure to listen to, super fun and well made. Top tier production hand in hand with top tier lyrics. It is ridiculously good. I like how it sounds like they aren't even trying to be good but it just works so well.
Some serious gems in here, but it just is not well paced and the album goes all over the place with its themes/sound. FUCKING YOUNG / PERFECT, SMUCKERS and 2SEATER are my top three. Still love the sound, even though the sound of the album goes from a nice smooth jam to extremely loud industrial-sounding songs, I feel like thats sort of the point here. Glad his album making abilities significantly improve from this point.
