This project rips. A crazy collection of bragging like he's untouchable. It's awesome.
Edit: This shit is bad, actually. I can't stand it
It's definitely disappointing to me personally.
I was really hoping this project would be more Dracula and less end of summer. It was definitely more end of summer. I don't hate dance music by any means, but even within the genre, this is a really dull palette to build a dance project around. I had a fine time listening to it, but only a couple of cuts really shone as great Tame Impala songs. I think an artist has every right ... read more
This album is loud, it's electronic, it's crunchy. It's everything I wanted to see in their projects when I listened to Monalisa.

It is a really cool project. I never thought I would be trying to break down the shot direction and storytelling of the Uh Huh guy.
My personal relationship to this artist goes pretty deep, just as a fan of the craft. I feel like the albums have grown with me (As corny as that sounds). THIS is no different; this project feels so intentional, cinematic, and straight-up jaw-dropping to watch. THUNDERRR had me grinning like a fucking schoolboy. Obviously, ITS FIRST LISTEN, so my impressions are ... read more
This album is a really fun time. Coming off the heels of an emotionally dense album (Chroma), DONT TAP THE GLASS is a really cool follow-up. Is it groundbreaking? No. I don't think that's what it's going for tho. It's a great time, emphasising keeping your own peace, shaking your ass, and not giving a fuck what ppl think of you. My only gripe with this thing is that some of the verses seem a little underwritten, but the vibe of this project is undeniable. I love the opening ... read more
My god
It feels like being alone in a room with all of your thoughts. Idk if that makes sense to a single soul, but the vulnerability in his voice is just incredibly wonderful to listen to. The instrumentals are space, but incredibly captivating. I saw him a couple years back when he opened for Rex Orange County and didn't really key into the man. Now, I'm so glad I actually came back to listen to this project. Really, really good, gets better with every listen

This one is SO, SO fun. I'm not too involved in Danny Brown or Peggy. I have a couple of Peggy songs on my playlist (Hazard duty pay, Free the Frail), and the first Danny brown song I heard was his feature on Quadecca's "I didn't mean to haunt you). I went into this thing with a level head and no expectations. Man, am I impressed... This thing has unpredictable, abrasive bangers down the entire tracklist. "Steppa Pig" has this searing synth in the beat that is so catchy and ... read more
Brother, I was just bored during this thing. Im not a Melanie hater by any means. She has SOME undeniable bangers. Some good stuff on K-12 and some on crybaby. I'm just a little let down by this. I wasn't expecting some opus, I just wanted the catchy pop hits that I can throw in my pop playlist. Bro I didnt really get that. The singles ended up being the best off the project by a long shot. In short a very boring sonic experience.

God, I love a good indie record. It just fills those niches of just a smile and walks album.
3 Favorites: Nosebleed seats, Evening light, and Vivienne
I liked it! This was a recommendation from a great friend of mine, and he's always preaching about this artist. He showed me "Pretty little fears" a while ago, but I'm finally getting around to listening to this thing front to back. In the nicest way possible, it was good background music, like 80% of the time. However, that 20% is really good when there's some real life in 6lack's voice. The 3-track-run in the middle of the album "pretty little fears," ... read more
I have no clue what she is saying half the time, but this is fire.
It's just some feel-good music, yk? Such a fun and poppy style that can cheer up even the worst day. I learned of this compilation from that TikTok song earlier this year. I was pleased to see that this album lived up to that banger. Fun listen.
Top 3 songs: "Ai wa energy" "stay with me" "wash"
Ok, Most Biased review of all time here. Eden is one of my favorite artists of all time; I remember listening to gravity on the "Mr. Suicide sheep" youtube channel. Last week I got the pleasure of seeing him in concert the other day, so I wanted to revisit this new album. God, This is such an easy listen; the entire album flows so nicely, instrumentally I love this thing. His themes and sound are so reformed from his last three projects. Back to front, it's only about 30-40 minutes ... read more
This album is insane. Another one from the roommate. This track list is TIGHT. It’s hard to pick out a song where its production isn’t amazing. Its tonality is amazing. I loved most of this project. HOWEVER, I have a big gripe. Sometimes Mac singing is a little jarring. Like personally “2009” and “small worlds” are a little obnoxious to me due to the delivery.
That aside, GREAT record highly recommend

This album is just Really Boring. Like REALLY boring. It seems like he made the hit, what's Poppin, and tried desperately to get lightning to strike again. It's not that his quality gets worse. Its that his Repetitive flow gets so fucking old. He is a one trick pony on this shit. Sure a Pony doing a backflip is cool, but if it does it for 16 minutes strait. I am no longer impressed.
3 favorites: "What's Poppin", "wanna see some ass", "Hey big head"
Ok, I'm a fan of a classic indie album, but this thing blew me out of the water. The sparse instrumentation is super nice in the album's runtime, the vocals are amazing, and the content are those indie themes that you come to an indie album for. Love, being young, and times with friends. They are all mentioned here, lol. Seriously tho, this record is super enjoyable. The only gripe I have is some of the songs are a little weak in the tracklist, but none of these tracks are BAD by any means. ... read more
I listened to this record alone, doing homework, in my dorm. Not the most ideal for a party album, you know? Even with that, this album was so fun and vibey. This funny little disco Project finds a way to mesh the sounds of the future while paying homage to the past. It flexes from bouncy guitars to experimental noises and beats. I really found myself enjoying these interesting soundscapes and the sparse and repetitive vocals. It's a LONG listen, tho. At times I felt a little uninterested in ... read more
My brother got me into mondo loops; Bro is a lofi mixing GOAT. Mondo delivers what you're supposed to get from one of these projects. An ambient experience good for studying and thought. I found myself enjoying the lush grassy beats to go with the forest theme. It didn't blow me away, but as a Lofi record, I enjoyed it.
Yeah, this is good. Now the content Of this record is heavy and full of grief. This record feels crazy vulnerable and carries this interesting aura of healing sadness. The tone of this album is amazing; I loved the production; the beats remind me of a lofi-type beat. This album shines in its lyrics, though "Prom/King" is fucking crazy this song has so much content, and it's all so good. Bro says, "Gave her the croissant or corsage or whatever the fuck My mom handed me." ... read more
This is just a refresher review. I didn't have AOTY when this dropped, so I listened to it again. EVERYTHING STILL STANDS. Quadeca is one of my favorite artists; he makes some of the most interesting music of all time. With the three months I had to sit on "I didn't mean to haunt you," I believe this is one of my favorite albums of all time and one I will recommend to everything that walks. The sound is simply something you can go nowhere else for. The tracks feel like a deep dive ... read more
