I'M SO NOIDED RN TYLER 🤤
But seriously, I'm a big fan of this funk/rock production. While I've never really cared for Tyler's rapping, the additional verse flows really well and ties the entire song together.
Oh... THEY dropped too.
But seriously, this EP is actually quite good. It's definitely Cynthoni's best material since we had good times together.
I'm not in love with most of the percussion here, but the melodies were catchy and the various elements from different genres kept it from feeling redundant like the other two Cynthoni EPs. Dork After Dark did not need to be seven minutes long though.

Soo pop music is like... BACK back.
The production on this album is actually out of this world. There's some of the most beautiful synths I've ever heard here, not to mention the incredible guitar riffs and bass. Every track literally sounds like frolicking above the clouds.
The vocals perfectly match the vibe of the production; they're catchy, light, and worl together to make for an insanely blissful and ethereal soundscape.

I've been listening to all of Carti's albums so I can actually talk to my classmates about music, and this is kind of a rough start.
The mixtape actually starts quite strong, with all of the first 4 songs being amongst my top 5 favourites on the tracklist. Carti actually has engaging performances, and the beats don't get boring yet.
However, nearly everything that follows is a slog to listen to. Carti's verses start getting way too similar, and the beats get less and ... read more
Apparently we've gotten more solo music from Stevie Wonder than Carti in the last 5 months
It's like simutaniously drinking corn syrup and shovelling granulated sugar into your mouth, but through a FLAC file.
Y'know I came into this expecting to really dislike it, thinking that Travis was trying too hard to make club hits based on the tracks I had already heard (SICKO MODE, NO BYSTANDERS), but this is actually a pretty solid album.
The production is consistently quite solid, mostly consisting of psychedelic-inspired trap beats. It's not as diverse nor interesting as Rodeo, but miles better than anything on Birds. Production highlights include 5% TINT, SKELETONS, and ASTROTHUNDER. ... read more
This is practically everything I could want out of a '90s jazz rap album.
Top three favourite tracks: Let's Organize, Maintain, Stray Bullet
The first cloud rap album/mixtape that actually connected with me. This is an absolutely insane soundscape and my only real issue with it is that there's a couple filler tracks near the middle that kinda take me out of the experience.
Also shoutout Hydr6c0don$ for ranking as the third best song ever according to RYM's chart.
Top three favourite tracks: IceCream$tonedStrippah$ (Outro), Daydre4m, Dr0wn
Really bummed that they removed a lot of GTMH, even the non-mumble parts, but atleast it doesn't have a Peso Pluma feature or is super unfinished.
