Literally the album of all time. Without a doubt, my automatic default full-length project recommendation to anyone trying to get into music. It touches elements of Pop, Disco, Soul, Electronic stuff, whatever. The tracklist consists of smash radio hits, love ballads, cool stuff like Motherboard, songs that made me rethink what music is, and so much more. This is Daft Punk's musicianship fully realised. It easily surpasses anything they've done before and after it and sets the new example of what "rave" music should strive to be, even with it being so, so much more than that.
Alive 2007 was my favourite album of all time for a while, and despite it not being my absolute favourite anymore, it is still without a doubt still in my top 10, maybe even pushing top 5. Listen with your very best speakers or headphones.

Still not sure how I feel about the House genre, but I do like this album. It has some of Daft Punk's rawest-sounding tracks, which works in its favour. The songs do evolve (unlike HAA, for example), but some do still drag on unnecessarily.
I wouldn't recommend it as an introduction to Daft Punk, but it's worth checking out if you like House or their other work.
Top three favourite songs: Alive, Da Funk, Indo Silver Club
Least favourite song: Rock'n Roll (not including WDPK or Funk Ad)
The first record I ever listened to from front to back, so it holds a special place in my heart for that, but too many oldheads act like it's the pinnacle of music because they can't comprehend that 70s rock isn't objectively the greatest genre ever. Go listen to some Chief Keef or start a family already.
Love the sax on Us and Them & Money, though, and the Great Gig vocals are obviously chilling.
