Eh. For the "best trap of all time," I was expecting a little more. The production is great, and Travis' vocal effects are used tastefully, but his voice still gets too monotone at times. Most of the hooks also aren't even close to being good enough to warrant taking up so much of their respective songs' runtime. Even if it's one of the better tracks here, I wanna highlight Nightcrawler as a huge victim of this. 40% of the song prior to Chief Keef's verse feels so redundant with next ... read more
Which executive at Vee Jay thought this was a good album title? It's better than Shorter's debut, at least.
Favourite track: Black Orpheus
I jaywalked to Myage once. I'm a whole-ass rebel.
Top three favourite songs: Bikeage, Marriage, I'm Not a Punk
Least favourite song: Parents
Just some standard hard bop. Highlights are Jimmy Cobb's drumming and the main man, Shorter himself.
Favourite track: Harry's Last Stand
You know what... it's pretty endearing. Far from perfect for sure, the Beavis and Butthead skits always take me out of the experience and tank my rating by a couple points, Cudi's guitar work isn't the greatest, and the demos just pad out an already bloated tracklist, but there's still a notable amount of artistic integrity in this, honestly more than most of Cudi's recent records. Due to being mostly self-produced by Cudi, the album sounds raw, and I think it complements his vocals and lyrics ... read more
This is my dad's favorite jazz album. It's good, but I don't think it's really clicked for me like some other jazz LPs have.
Top three favourite tracks: Cabin Fever, Song for Bilbao, African Skies
Least favourite track: Introduction to Naked Soul
Awful introduction for my favourite kinda subgenre (but not really?? What even is math rock???) If you want to get into math rock with no experience and this album pops up, go listen to Piglet or some shit. Once you're ready for some raw stuff, check this out; it's AMAAAZING.
Edit: Damn, I come off so pretentious here. You might like this on your first listen, but if you don't, I suggest coming back to it... Or not, life's too short to listen to music you don't enjoy.

It gets boring at times, but there's still a ton of Cudi's best work here.
Top three favourite songs: Does It, By Design, The Commander
Least favourite song: Distant Fantasies
Acts 1 and 2 consist of some pretty solid moody trap hits, but Acts 3 and 4 are where the Man On The Moon title is earned. Solo Dolo III acts as a perfect transition between the two parts; it's without a doubt the perfect centrepiece to this project.
Cudi and his producers did wonders on this album, making some of the most psychedelic and spacey beats I've ever heard in hip-hop. The second half of this album literally feels like floating around in space, isolated. I genuinely believe ... read more
You know what... I don't hate it.
There's quite a few fun tracks here. Some trash too, but at this point, I prefer that to an album full of songs I'm never gonna revisit. Cudi's flows are more varied in delivery here, and the production is a little more ambitious than regular INSANO. Even the cover is less shit. I don't know how long this is gonna remain Cudi's most recent project, as he is both apparently taking a break AND working on a collab album with Jaden Smith (why????), but it's ... read more
I originally wrote a long-ass review about why I don't like this album, but my laptop crashed and it got deleted. I mostly rewrote my thoughts on the project, just without my life story leading to its release. TLDR: generic, boring, and my least favourite from the Cudder.
My main problem with this album is that it's just straight-up boring and generic. I don't mind Cudi doing trap; MOTM III is a genuinely great trap album that manages to sound like an actual evolution to Cudi's sound, being ... read more
A good way to spend six minutes. Like A Soccer Mom is also genuinely the best SoundCloud rap song ever.
I wish more artists did this instead of deluxe albums.
Favourite song: NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO!
Veteran, but kinda gay. Way more consistent too.
Top three favourite songs: Papi I Missed U, Free the Frail, PRONE!
Least favourite song: Lifes Hard, Here's a Song About Sorrel
Peggy's 2020s run could totally end up being in the same talks as Ye in the 2000s and RZA in the 1990s. This is a top 5 rap album ever in my ̶e̶y̶e̶s̶ . (or ears?)
Top three favourite songs: THE GHOST OF RANKING DREAD!, ARE YOU HAPPY?, BMT!

Great project that also cements Danny as the 2023 rap MVP.
