This album is an amazing trip of an experience. There is so much interesting stuff that it manages to say over the course of its runtime. This is one of the rare albums that managed to have a full choking grip on my attention until the end. I will probably be re-listening to this album for years to come, and I wouldn't be surprised if I came away with a different interpretation each time.
Favorite Tracks: Sugar/Tzu, Welcome to Hell, 27 Questions
Least Favorite (barring interludes): Still
Edit: I can't stop listening to this. 953 definitely grew on me. Original score [96]
This album is entrancing and terrifying. It feels like I'm staring into a pitch black pit, seemingly going on forever. There are faint noises coming from the bottom. It's entrancing to look at and for some reason you can't explain why but it keeps you drawn to it. And every now and then something pops out of it.
Favorite Tracks: Near DT, MI, Of Schlagenheim, bmbmbm
Least Favorite: Years Ago
This is surprisingly enjoyable, I am no longer a Yeat denier. This whole project is very tightly produced and even if some songs are a bit dull, they at least fit the dark, futuristic tone of the project. Give this a shot, even if you don't like Yeat's other stuff or the Rage scene as a whole.
Favorite Tracks: Power Trip, ILUV, If We Being Real, Breathe, Psycho CEO
Least Favorite Track: Familia
My soul escaped my body during the bridge of Dogs. Not as good as Wish You Were Here or DSOTM but still a treat for the ears. The length of the songs makes it so that the songs can evolve over time and end up as these sprawling epics. Also, Roger's lyrics and vocal performances are great.
Favorite Tracks: Dogs, Pigs (Three Different Ones), Sheep
Least Favorite Tracks: Pigs on a Wing Pts. 1 and 2
