the only disappointment i had is knowing he ain't gay lol
been hearing about him lately and finally destiny gave me time to listen to his new album. the production is on top and he knows his sound so well. however, onto the last tracks, it felt like the next track sounds like the previous one.
that damn harmonica
one of the most interesting albums i've heard. i love the theme, although a part of me thinks it's too american. best part is definitely the flawless harmonica.
i can imagine the bars repeating these songs like crazy
this is my first time listening to patti smith, and i am just surprised how neat and thrilling her voice and the sound of her music is. probably the reason why i did not score it higher, because i am not a big fun of random change in song lengths in an album (it's just me i know im sorry). overall, great album, can't wait to listen to more of her project.
went one note
the tracks did not deliver the way i expected it to be. weird that my perspective on this album is good, but track per track, it's not par to the good albums of this genre. nevertheless... loved the sound, the vocal mixing, and the whole vibe of it all.
oh yas gawd i was thrilled
it's interesting how this album was perceived, especially by its singles. I was expecting a track by track heavy hitting fast tempo bangers, but I got a better one instead??? Perfect amount of tracks and length. And the impact it did for future pop albums is very obvious.
who approved of this idea?
it's plain snoozefest with the same beat over and over again which only worked on her previous album, Erotica. Wished she channel more of her previous atmospheric songs in this in order for this album to work
how did they combine all the good rock music while we were growing up in just one album i just don't get it
the way i'm every nervous every minute if the product is going to turn into a hip hop sample beat
what vibes do you want for your album?
genesis owusu: yes
