I've been holding off on this one for a while because it took a a few listens to fully sink in.

A couple years after Anthony left saosin he created circa survive and knocked it out of the park. Circa survive has a sound that no other band has been able to replicate. His higher pitched voice and the mellow instrumentals work perfectly. While I like their other albums this is a case where I don't think any of them have fully replicated what makes this album special.

This band has been an obsession over that past few months. about a year after leaving Busted, Charlie Simpson created Fightstar and came out swinging. This EP has the bands first single Palahniuk's Laughter which is probably in my top three Fightstar songs. While I think Grand Unification is a better project this is an impressive debut that should have gained more attention.

I feel like this is a good time to review all of the Beartooth projects.

For a debut EP that's only 4 songs its pretty impressive. Sick is definitely not their best work but it helped show what they're capable of.

brockhampton is the only modern rap artist/group ive liked. I dont know if its the very little amount of autotune or the lack of mumbling but it just clicked.

This is one of the best covers ever. They made a cover song so good that Don Henley hates it all because two words were changed. Fuck him he's a massive douchebag.

Criminally underrated. A big return for form after three album that were a little more mellow. Even with the drastic sound changes across their first run, all of the albums are consistently great.
