The soft lo-fi instrumentals paired with Daniel Caesar's beautifully amazing singing (and great voice) make for a great R&B-Soul infused album. This is great throughout and especially amazing around the middle. Thanks for the recommendation ember.

MJ wanted to make an album that would take the world by storm. Arguably, he accomplished that goal multiple times, but i'm just gonna talk about Thriller. Thriller is the most sold album of all time with 70 million copies worldwide. It has the most iconic 3 track run (Thriller, Beat It, Billie Jean), and is undeniably one of the most beloved albums of all time. But why?
I love Thriller because of the many, many layers it has. The harmonies, piano, funk, hard rock elements, the ballads, ... read more
THIS IS SOME OF THE BEST SHIT I'VE EVER HEARD
There is not one guitar riff I went "i don't know if i like that". Not one lyric, not one vocal. The worst track still bangs, 96/100. The raging guitars and angry vocals is the exact shit I like. This is my first listen by the way. So even though I didn't rate every track a 100, I probably will soon. I almost started the review with "not one moment i'd change" anyway. Foreshadowing..

what the fuck a 32 minute long track
This is just peak. The spiritual, Egyptian feeling instrumental and vocals are absolutely amazing and cinematic. Just wow. How do you even make a nearly 33 minute track essentially perfect? And the secondary, 5 minute track is also very amazing. Truly a hypnotizing experience. Average: 99.5/100 | Rating: 100/100
Lively, catchy, fun, amazingly produced. This is shorter but probably more descriptive than alot of my reviews. Atleast my old ones.

thx for the rec henry
Wow. This is amazing. Some of the smoothest and relaxing jazz i've heard. In any other genre this is probably an insult, but since it's jazz, being able to sleep to it is a compliment.

Paul and Ringo having a new song together wasn't something I was expecting even though I now realize as i'm typing this that it makes more sense to happen than it does to not happen
wait this is actually amazing
Calling a Miles Davis album underrated seems kinda wild but yeah
What more could you want than a fun, groovy, upbeat jazz album from the likes of Miles Davis and John Coltrane? Sure there's rough edges but it's pretty damn great. Miles Davis seemed to know who would work together best. This group is great.

This has both grown on and off me simultaneously. The raging guitar and raw vocals are absolutely amazing. This was the start of Nirvana, and grunge as a whole. It feels like an early In Utero. This has both some of Nirvana's worst and best songs. Multiple highlights here. Blew, Love Buzz, Scoff, and About a Girl.

listening for an album swap
This is pretty good and sounds even better on paper. Multiple big name features that all did pretty good. Alicia Keys, Nicki Minaj, T.I, Jay-Z, Wayne. On most Drake albums, the production stands out more than the vocals, but here it's the opposite. I really like the laidback production (and vibe) but the vocals really stand out. Modern-day Drake albums are full of filler, and don't have much passion or energy. This doesn't have any of that, and ... read more
I actually thought this was overrated. I was expecting to think it was a masterpiece but no. The last 15 minutes are absolutely beautiful and peaceful though. This is still really good and maybe would get a bit better on relistens. Thought there wasn't alot of stuff going on in track 1. First bit of track 2 was buildup so I can't say much there. Like I already said, last 15 minutes were peak.
Great album though overrated.

This album has a pretty interesting story, read it
This is great all around but I really loved the vocals. This was an experience i've never had before. This gave Radiohead vibes at times. It's a beautiful album that I can appreciate even more after knowing the story behind it.
The rotted versions of the songs are also an experience of sorts.. It feels like listening to a message sent from a far-away dying planet that may have died by the time the message got to earth. That's ... read more
The singles somewhat fell off for me, but this is still a great album.
A great and pretty funky boogie dance-pop record with multiple MJ classics. Not sure how anybody could hate this.
MJ's goal was to deliver something great. Something that would be one of the most acclaimed and best selling records of all time, and he did that, with Off The Wall. And this is only when the start. It was only uphill from here. MJ is undoubtably one of, if not the most known figures worldwide and is the ... read more
