The best way to describe this album is to quote what baby keem says on the Kendrick track “tv off”
“Crazy, scary, spooky, hilarious”
This album has some of the darkest instrumentals under Danny’s bright voice and they both just compliment each other so well. The subject being this deep for a Danny brown project was a light surprise. But honestly what can’t surprise you from this project?
More rock inspired than anything that Peggy has ever made. Well just for the first half, the second half takes a more soul approach which I honestly liked more, probably the most “mainstream” Peggy has ever sounded but it doesn’t take anything away from the project.
This sounds like the most refreshing grape soda you will ever have. Peggy and Danny is a great duo and this project flawlessly shows why. Danny’s rapping and lyrics over Peggy’s beat is just the craziest thing ever.
One of the more weaker projects in Peggy’s discography but that doesn’t really mean anything when you’re talking about the JPEGMAFIA
This is rage music seen through a different lens and it could not go any harder 😮💨
The last song on this album is silent and tells you to go to YouTube to listen to it. When you go to his YouTube, it brings you to a Honda commercial he made. What else can I say 🤷♂️
One of the most unique records in the underground scene. But I still think Skeletrix Language is better.
The Mac Miller Estate officially releases Mac Miller’s old project “Balloonerism” and it still manages to hold up to today’s standards even after his passing. Truly was a talented human being.
With the lead singer leaving, BCNR still manages to create a good project with the power of friendship and commitment. Even if it’s not as good as their previous projects, this is still worth a listen for people who are fans of BCNR or even the whole genre itself.
BCNR’s sudden and mature realization of what they can really be.
When I first heard “For the first time”, I thought nothing would top that album. For a standalone album, that to me was one of the best musical experiences I have ever ventured through. What’s more impressive though is that it was their debut album. There are only a few bands that can come out full guns blazing like that and succeed like they did. But that begged the question; what would they do next? Do ... read more
This band manages to get better with every release and even with how impressive their last record “Cavalcade” was, this blows it straight out of the water. Just as the name suggests, FIRE.
Complete utter chaos sprinkled with light jazz and funk, it almost makes the more quiet moments shine brighter than the louder ones. Truly a step up from their last album.
