Kanye West - Late Registration
85

A great follow up to the college dropout. Kanye’s production is top notch here, and so are the messages he wants to put out through these songs.

Kanye West - My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy
80

This album has some low points, but damn do the great songs really shine. Kanye is at his peak creatively here.

NR

Boring, repetitive, and bland. Kanye has taken a huge dip in creativity.

Kendrick Lamar - good kid, m.A.A.d city
95

Cinematic, immersive, and thought provoking. Kendrick pulls through with one of the best rap albums ever.

Kendrick Lamar - Section.80
70

Some interesting rap songs from Kendrick’s debut. You could see what was about to come down the road from some stuff in this thing, and it is impressive.

Taylor Swift - THE TORTURED POETS DEPARTMENT
35

Jack Antonoff really does weigh her down. Bad lyrics, hollow performances, and grading production are this album’s notable aspects.

Kendrick Lamar - DAMN.
75

A respectable project by Kendrick. A personal, smooth album. I do think it falls short of his other projects, though.

Deftones - Around the Fur
85

Furious and hard hitting metal bangers. Deftones was in their bag for this one.

Nas - Illmatic
NR

A collection of conscious, evocative songs hailing from one of new York’s greatest hip hop talents of all time.

Deftones - White Pony
100

Punchy guitars and as usual amazing vocals from chino Moreno define this opus in Deftones’ catalogue.

Kendrick Lamar - To Pimp a Butterfly
100

To Pimp a Butterfly is possibly the most important hip hop album of all time. Potent and thoughtful lyricism, incredibly well put together production, and amazing messages tie this masterpiece up. The poem that reads on through the entire album is powerful, completing and revealing the themes, messages, and entire point of this albums existence.

Jeff Buckley - Grace
90

Incredible singing, great songs, and rich soundscapes. Jeff was taken from us far too early.

Radiohead - In Rainbows
100

My favorite album of all time. A magical experience. Floating, orgasmic peaks treat the ears to some of the best songs Radiohead has ever made.

Billie Eilish - HIT ME HARD AND SOFT
85

A collection of exceptional pop songs, some of which are very fun production-wise.

Radiohead - OK Computer
100

A truly amazing album experience. An incredible boundary pushing experience, whose messages grow more important every year.

Taylor Swift - 1989 (Taylor's Version)
70

An energetic, fun experience with competent songwriting. One of Taylor swift’s best projects.

Taylor Swift - Red
NR

Bloated, contrived at times, and sadly repetitive.

Kanye West - The College Dropout
95

Communal, anthemic, and rich in quality, the college dropout is today an important and enjoyable staple in the landscape of rap music.

Godspeed You! Black Emperor - Lift Yr. Skinny Fists Like Antennas to Heaven!
100

Hopeful, inspiring, and still depressing at times. A series of crescendos and drones that instill a sense of humanity in their bittersweet tones.

Björk - Vespertine
95

Ethereal, enchanting sound. Björk sounds absolutely angelic on this album. It sounds like it came from another dimension.
