Someone go and give phil a hug
I’ve been listening to this album for a while throughout the week
Its just so much to digest. My first impression was thinking that people just liked the storytelling, it really didn’t speak out to me BUT TODAY IT CLICKED
Its so consistent like theres literally no fat, everything happens for a reason with this record. The singing is so naked and it sounds so dreadful. The drums tho….the drummer had no reason to pop off that hard yknow w the ... read more
I'm so glad that the second half wasn't AS emotionally destructive as the first half. I really don't think I would have been able to listen to that without sobbing my eyes out. Still, the first tracks killed me inside, beautifully.
JONI MITCHELL IS BACK ON SPOTIFY YAAAAAAA
This shit was so damn beautiful the whole way through I swear I always tear up on the albums about love
The Blarney Stone sounds like Mr. Krabs and that is fucking awesome
But this whole record is well made, can totally see the impact it has on Spongebob
Claustrophobic was a fucking banger what do yall mean :(
Theres highs, theres lows, its a cool record. Shoutout kdot tho
WOAHHHHH WHAT
i came in thinkin the popular songs were going to outshine all the other songs
But every song does something unique its so damn good
The 2nd half doesnt hit as hard as the 1st half but that shouldnt take away anything from the experience.
Complete magic
The second half feels like a fever dream
felt very unhinged during the end of this
Wish the intro and ending were stronger though
No clue why I wasn't in love with this song during my first listen. This is like third eye-opening shit
The highlights are mostly in the beginning and in the end of the album. I love a good portion of the ideas that are expressed, but damn this thing can drag. If some songs were scrapped, this thing would've came out a lot more enjoyable imo
That being said, the quality is pretty damn good and this album is one of the better breakcore records.
BEST TRACKS : GORE-TEX COVERS MY SOUL, Satellite from days of old, lead me to your access code, 60FPS
WORST TRACK: de_cache
An unbearably claustrophobic experience.
Cried a lot to this record, either from laughing or how depressing Danny can get
This record has it alllllll.
THIS SHIT IS HEAAAT AHHHHHH
holy shit i cant wait to see what comes after this!
I love the storytelling so much
The production is really pretty and when the tracks get explosive it really does sound phenomenal.
But, some of these songs genuinely suck ass and drag the story being told, and the tiktok mfs who adore tf out of this album ruined it for me.
Besides the title track, the singles really outdid themselves and outshined the rest of the tracks. Still, as a whole, it’s a soothing experience. Another common MGMT W
